ABOUT.
Name: Juliette Fox
Nicknames: Lettie/Jules/JJ
Age: Twenty-Nine
Birthplace: New Jersey
Occupation: Bartender (OnlyFans)
Romantic/sexual orientation: Biromantic/bisexual
Normal. There was nothing else she could do to describe her upbringing. Her parents were teachers and taught her to love learning. Her siblings were her parents saving grace, they listened to everything kept everyone in line and when she wanted to act out she knew she would get in trouble worse with her siblings than her parents. So she didn't.
Juliette is the baby of the family, a large family with 5 siblings. She was often overlooked for her siblings who were all doing great things. It was apparent that no one was paying attention to her when she hit high school. Her parents were tired of parenting, her siblings all off in college or having their own lives.
She found it easy, everything came easy to her. School, friends, relationships with others. Often times she found she wasn't caring what people thought of her, she was unapologetically herself.
When it came time for her to leave town and go to school she was leaving to go to the city where dreams were made. She didn't know what she was going to do. She doesn't have a purpose but she went to college because that's what you're supposed to do. She never fell in love with college, or anything to do with it, but she did fall in love with New York City.
She settled into the fact that everyone had a story and everyone was just living their lives all stuffed onto this island. She went through college getting a degree in business, but falling in love with the business of NYC more and more each year.
She started working at Five Star when she was in her senior year of college. It was a way to make extra money, but it stuck. It was the second thing she fell in love with. The atmosphere and the feeling of being able to hear and help people.
After she graduated from NYU she found her way to Brooklyn, moving closer to work and finding her way in the world. She always told herself she would move up in the business world and go back to school to look good, but she couldn't get herself to leave. She's comfortable. She's settled.
When she was twenty five she was struggling to make money. She wanted to make more and she knew she needed to not live with 3 roommates in a shitty apartment anymore. She needed to grow up.
She was approached by a modeling company one night, and thought it was funny. Thought that no one would want to see her on covers of anything. She went and heard them out. Took some photos, and she was right. They didn't want her on covers of anything. They wanted her to take photos for a fetish website. She never thought of herself as anything less than before, but in that moment she took a good hard thought and realized that she wasn't like everyone else. She didn't blend in as well as she thought she did outside of her family.
She looked into doing it for herself. She didn't want to be a stripper, she didn't want to show too much, but she found a way where she could make it what she wanted. She found OnlyFans and she got the first paycheck and couldn't look back. She doesn't advertise, but the right people know and the right people get what they want.
Sometimes she thinks about how she might not be doing enough. Might not be making her parents proud enough. Might not be worthy of the fact that she's lived a good life. No struggles, no worry, no chaos other than the sinking feeling that everything will fall apart if she looked around and really analyzed her life.
Contrary to Juliette's glare, as soon as she agreed to dine with him, Robbie turned to the host and thanked them for understanding with a bright smile. Once by the table, he pulled the chair for Jules to sit opposite him and whispered in her ear as she sat down. "I would love nothing more than to have dinner with you." Robbie pulled back and went to take his place in front of her, handing her the menu that he had already looked over, already knowing what he was going to order. "It's really a happy coincidence, at least for me." He smiled softly but quickly added, "But don't feel pressure to make conversation. We can just sit here in silence and eat."
Robbie didn't exactly want that. He wanted to talk to Jules, wanted to hear all about her day and how she's been and how's work and if she finished reading that book she used to carry around or if her curls have been giving her trouble. "Do you come here often? The bruschetta is really good for an appetizer." He commented just to make conversation, smile still bright on his face. The last thing he wanted to do was seem anxious or make things awkward. Robbie cared about Jules and even if they weren't together anymore, he was mature enough to have a pleasant meal with one of the most stunning women he's had the pleasure of spending time with. "How has Five Star been?"
Jules graciously took the seat and looked at him. She always admired how easy it was for him to look so effortlessly beautiful. She couldn't lie to herself, her heart ached looking at him like this, wanting to reach out for him and hold his hand. The urge to change her mind on things she's already put her foot down on, but knowing she couldn't. She couldn't be what he wanted her to be and that reality weighed down on her like a ton of bricks. "Baby, i'm not going to sit across a table from you and not talk to you. I don't think i'm capable of doing that. Especially not to you." She didn't even hear herself call him by a pet name it just escaped her lips so easily.
She looked down at the menu, "Actually i've never been here before. I finally had a night off and wanted to treat myself, as the girlies say." She tried to make a joke while scanning the menu. "Why don't you order like three things and we'll share. I'm so not in the mood to make any decisions in life at the moment!" She put the menu down. She looked around and felt so out of place in the upscale restaurant. "To be honest I just have no idea what to eat. You know me, a dollar slice and a bodega sandwich are usually my go to's." She took a sip of her water, "Oh it's same old same old, the creepy guy is still creepy and still tips well. The baseball hat guy still won't make eye contact with anything other than my rack, so really you haven't missed anything." She let herself fall silent for the time being wondering where this was going to go and getting caught in her own train of thought.
Taking himself on little self dates, as he liked to called them, was one of his favorite parts of the weekend. Working as a doctor, a pediatrician no less, is something that can be so overwhelming that he always made sure to make time for the Robbie outside of the hospital. Tonight, he chose one of his favorite restaurants in the neighborhood for some Italian food and nice red. Looking at the menu at his table, he wasn't far from the door when he heard there appeared to be a mixed up with some reservations. Robbie wasn't going to look up but the voice he heard sounded familiar, so he did. And there she was. Juliette Fox was not just another girl, no. She was, is still absolutely breathtaking and earth shattering and it took Robbie's brain a second or two to form a coherent thought but it finally came to him. She needed a table and he was alone.
"Excuse me. Jules, hi." He said once he stood from his table and approached the reception. When her eyes landed on him and she recognized him, he suggested. "If it's not too awkward for you, I'm dining on my own. Care to join me?" Robbie offered his ex with a soft smile. Except, it suddenly occurred to him that he was alone but she wasn't going to be. "Unless you are waiting for some one else. Then I'll happily give up my table for the lady." Even if it might sting a little that she could be there with someone else, Robbie held his head high and if she was going to be on a date here, then he'd be happy for her.
Juliette had the night off for the first time in over a month and she knew she needed to spend it right. A self care night was everything she needed, including a night to treat herself to a meal. She didn’t think she needed to make a reservation, but the host was new and didn’t know her around here yet and she couldn’t help but get a bit prickly with her when she wouldn’t let her jump the list. Before she knew it she was stopped in her tracks with the sound of his voice. She knew he shouldn’t affect her this way, but a bolt of electricity shot through her at the thought of even seeing him.
She smoothed out her dress and let an easy smile sit on her lips. This was her only option at the moment and she would probably kick herself for it later “Hi darling. As long as you don’t mind having me, I would love to dine with you.” She couldn’t help but pick up what he was putting down and she knew what it meant and she in fact was here alone, “just me tonight. Guess you’re stuck with me.” She gave the host a glare as if saying ha I got my way and walked over to the table. “You really don’t have to do this, If you don’t want to see me I can go somewhere else” she almost whispered before getting settled.
Tae playfully scowled in her direction, shaking his head as he playfully pretended to take the knife back. "At least I don't go stabbing you in the back," he answered her. "You mean so much to me that I'm happy to go ahead and stare you in the face while I break your heart." The words made him frown very slightly, although he was quick to wipe the look from his face —- he honestly couldn't think of anything worse than breaking her heart.
When she headed off to find a table, he let his gaze linger on her momentarily before turning his attention to the barista instead, flashing them a smile. He was completely unaware of what was going on behind his back, just focused on picking up their orders. It was only when he turned back to her and saw how she was just staring off into the wall, presumably looking at the artwork, that a small smile crept over his features. He often wondered where he'd be in his life without her, that she was the one person he was certain that he couldn't survive without, but had he ever actually said that out loud? It was always implied, of course... —- at least, he thought it was.
Shaking his head and sighing lightly, he picked up the tray with their orders on and headed for the table. "Okay, here we go!" he said, announcing his presence perhaps a little bit too loudly. "One chai latte, with almond milk of course, and one apple muffin..." He took a seat, taking the items off the tray and flashing her a smile. "I went pistachio, had to, don't know how long it's sticking around." @juliettefoxxx
She was so excited to see her drink. She felt like a kid at a candy store. She reached out and took a sip letting out a small sigh when the taste hit her. “Honestly this is better than sex sometimes!” She said without thinking. She knew Tae knew how weird she was and she truly felt no shame. “If you could name one thing better than sex what do you think it would be?”
This was the best part about hanging out with him. She never had to be something other than herself. She didn’t have to be the badass she was at work, or any one else to make people see her. Tae always saw her and he never made her feel out of place.
“Tell me something fun. What have I missed in your life recently?” She let a lazy smile take its place on her lips as she took another sip of her chai.
"Okay awesome. You do that." He said to her as he shrugged a bit and then thought about the options that she presented him with, "How about we go out? Let's just go crazy and do it?" He asked her curiously as he raised an eyebrow slightly at her and chuckled a bit. This was definitely out of his norm and this wasn't who he was, but there was something about being around Juliette that turned him into this person. "Unless you don't want to cause then we can totally do a movie or something, i'm not opposed to that either." @juliettefoxxx
She couldn't say she was mad at the idea, she wasn't nearly ready to go out but she was excited at the idea! She never thought he would even go for this let alone suggest it at this very moment. "You are surprising me more and more with every word that comes out of your mouth! She got a bit bouncy at the idea of seeing what he would be like without his inhibitions. "No no no, you suggested going out, we are no longer watching a movie!" She placed the plates in the dishwasher and grabbed some Tupperware for everything else. "You work on getting things packed up and i'll put on something more appropriate to go out in!" She said looking down at her yoga pants and oversized band tee.
Jumping around she raced to her bedroom and stripped down in no time grabbing some bell bottom pants that she swears is still in style, and hugs her hips better than anything she could ever imagine. Letting the fabric of a soft white tank top hug her curves of her chest. She grabbed a red lipstick and stuck some on quickly and grabbing her stash of good tequila from her closet. Coming out as fast as she could before he could take it back and change his mind.
She went back into the kitchen and flipped her hair over fluffing it up a bit and flipping it over with one hand before finally coming up for air. She looked at him with an easy smile, "I hope you know what you just got yourself into." She placed the tequila on the counter before going to grab 2 shot glasses. "We have to stay warm on the walk over!" She gave him an easy wink and placed the glasses on the counter. "I am so excited you're doing this with me!"

As she made her way into the familiar Starlight, she spotted the person sitting at the table she'd been headed for and froze in her tracks. Sure, it would make more sense to simply accept a different table, but something in her had her walking over to the occupied table anyway. "Excuse me," she started, having just reached the booth in the corner. "Sorry to bother you. I know this may sound insane, but is there any way I could join you at this table?" Victoria knew it'd be a long-shot, but she was trying to stay hopeful. "I'm about to start previews for my musical, and right before I open a show, I always come sit at this table and have the same exact meal. I know it's incredibly superstitious, but it's tradition." Maybe they'd either take pity on her and let her join, or find her crazy enough to get up and leave the table behind. Either way worked for her. "I'd happily pay for your meal," she added. Surely that'd help sway things in her favor.
Juliette had just sat down at the booth, she was just getting settled when the girl approached her. She was so happy to have some company, "Don't you dare say another word! Come sit, have anything you want. I'm so happy to share the space!" She really was always up for anything, "Tell me more about this show?!"
"Yeah, exactly. Like why should we let our siblings be the talking point of our conversation when we'd be damn lucky if they even mention us in one of their many conversations they have every day." Manny laughed a bit as he looked at Juliette. He was glad that they clicked so well and it was nice to have her in his life since he didn't allow that many people get that close to him. "Okay, okay. We shall see how it goes. We will play it by ear. We don't have to dedicate ourselves to doing something fully if the mood really isn't there." He mentioned to his friend even though he knew that it probably wasn't going to do too much at this point. "Yes, I know. I enjoy spending time with you as well no matter what the setting is or what we're doing. Well thank you. I appreciate that. And I think you're very bright as well. It's nice to hold a higher intelligent conversation with someone in society and not just at the law firm." @juliettefoxxx
She didn't let them have another sentence of her time, she just smiled and looked at Manny. He surprises her on every turn she makes with him. This closed off guy to everyone else never spares her some of the best laughter she's ever heard. She felt the silence settling in and her eyes lingering on him. Before she could stare for too long, or let her heart tell her something her mind could easily talk her out of. She cleared her throat and grabbed her empty plate. She needed to make busy, she needed to keep everything going, she couldn't feel..she wasn't sure what she was feeling, but she couldn't feel it, couldn't ruin this. "I--I'm just going to load this stuff into the dishwasher. She said making her way around the table to grab his plate from him, her arm brushing against his. "Are you heading home, or are we watching a movie?" She wasn't sure why she was so stuck in her head, she never got nervous around anyone. Why now?
"We can unpack both at a later time because really, he doesn't need to clog up the conversation and neither do I." Manny said to Juliette as he laughed a bit. He was just glad that she was here and they were spending time with one another. Did Elias need a babysitter? Probably not, but Manny was the overprotective older twin and he liked to make sure his brother was okay. "I don't even know if I've ever been drunk, other than my graduation parties and a couple times in college. I have never been super big into drinking because I know what it can lead to and I know that some people need that sober person around just in case. Yeah, totally. They are." He said. "If there's anything I learned throughout my life, it's that women will always think that they're right and there's nothing you can do to change their mind about it." @juliettefoxxx
"I understand. I doubt my siblings spend any time talking about me. So no clogging at all." She was thankful for the easy company. She was never one to say no to hanging out with someone, she wasn't someone who liked being alone. She had spent far too much of her time alone in the past and now she chooses to spend her time with as many people as possible. Also the thought of being alone leaves her with her own thoughts and her own fears that she would rather not face. "Well then i'm glad you've found me. We're going to safely get you drunk. I refuse to be your sober person, sounds too much like my line of work, but I do promise to take care of you if something goes wrong." She was sure that she had trained long and hard for the spot of Manny's drinking buddy, and hopefully she could be a good time for him. "But I hope you know, I enjoy your time sober as much as I would love to see you dancing on a bar." She nodded her head, "You are a very smart man."

Being back in New York meant there was a serious shortage of hiking spots, and by a shortage, that meant that they didn't exist at all. It wasn't great really, to have one of Paul's go-to ways to unwind taken away from him, but he had found other ways to relax —- running was one of them, even if he wasn't the biggest fan. He was easily distracted, that was the problem, would find himself caught up in anything that came his way that would take him away from the run. Today, that was a problem, one made very clear when he turned his head in the direction of something going on, on another path and proceeded to run straight into someone. "Shit..." He scrambled back to standing and his attention was immediately on the person he'd collided with. "Are you alright? I was..." A pause. "Yeah, I have no excuse for that."
After pulling an all nighter working a double shift there was nothing she wanted more than to get herself a coffee and then give herself a long caffeine induced nap. Before she could even take two steps onto the sidewalk out of the bar she was knocked straight onto her ass. She couldn't even comprehend what happened for a second as she got her mind in check and she looked up at the man that put her there. He looked apologetic, and all she could do was paste a fake smile on her face and hope for the best. "No no, it's fine. I'm fine. I think.." She moved to get up off the ground before she felt her butt and the bruise she knew was going to form in the next few minutes. "Do you always run into women on the street? Is this a pick up thing, because i'm sorry i'm not interested." Forgetting about the whole fake smile thing she brushed off her pants and pulled her bag up onto her shoulder.
"I'm honoured..." Tae placed a hand to his chest in mock surprise, the smile on his face bright and infectious ( the smile that was always on his face when Juliette was around, honestly ). "It really might just one you, though, your nose might be broken, " he said with a laugh, "I'm not sure I trust it, as flattered as I am." It was a silly comment really, but he kept his gaze on her a moment longer before turning his attention to ordering.
"Okay..." He repeated what she'd said to the barista, and then took a second or two longer to decide on his own order before ordering exactly what he'd been pondering. It was still new for him, at least. "You want to grab a table and I'll wait for these?"
"You don't trust me?" She gasped, faking pain in her chest and pulling out an invisible knife that he left there, "Here I think this is yours, you really shouldn't go around stabbing your best friend through the heart like that, one day I might just believe you!" She laughed and nodded taking a look around the place searching for a table. There was one left, in the corner the chairs pressed next to each other. It'll have to do.
She walked over and claimed their seats and watched him from afar. Studying his features that she knew so well, not worrying about the fact that she was staring. For a minute she let her mind wander, wonder what it would feel like if this was their future still exploring new cafe's together and pushing each other to try new things. She felt a small butterfly go off in her stomach at the idea of this type of stability with him. She quickly pushed down the idea and looked away studying the art on the wall, not wanting to get caught staring at her best friend.
"I totally do. I don't do much besides work and babysit Elias. He needs someone to babysit him sometimes because he can be a wild child." Manny laughed as he looked at the woman that had cooked for him. "I mean I'm never going to say no to that. I'm sure you know all of the fun things to do around here." He explained to her with a charming smile that followed. "I don't know if that's something that I can actually do. I mean I feel like it sounds easier said than done and I don't know if it would be believable unless I had a lot to drink and it really loosens up my personality." Manny explained to his friend. While being mature was nice for when he needed it, he felt like he missed out on quite a bit because of it. Like he was the kid that was too mature for his age and he didn't allow himself to have the fun he should've. He heard her next comment and then glared at her while muttering under his breath, "Right because women are always right." Emmanuel put more food on his for and then ate it and looked back at Juliette with a big smile. @juliettefoxxx
"It's not your fault you're working hard, and also that your brother needs a babysitter...which we can unpack that at a later time." She rolled her eyes never understanding why he wanted to look after his brother, although that could be her own downfall with her siblings not caring to look after her. "You can totally do it, or you can be totally you and open up to a stranger you'll never see again. It really is all just a fun game. With or without alcohol, although a drink is always fun. I'm sure you would be an entertaining drunk, maybe even a dance on the bar drunk? Who knows?" She grimaced, "I know when i'm wrong and i know when to admit it. But damn right women are always right and you should never forget it."
"Listen, it's the worst for me to decide because I can always go for a dill pickle, I sometimes am in the mood for something like a bread and butter pickle. I feel like they get hated on way too much and it's for not reason." He said and then he heard her speaking about the pickle guys that are in Bryant park and he raised an eyebrow. "How the heck did I not know about this? I'm definitely going to have to go there for that next year. I usually steer away from that area during the holidays just because it's super crowded and I don't do the best in crowded environments." He explained to the woman, "But I can brave it for some pickles if they're as good as you say they are." He said. "I love that you do that, I try to do that as well as much as my budget will allow me. Sometimes shopping smaller can cost a little more, but I will say that the quality is usually better though." He said. "Oh okay! I like the idea of eating outside." @juliettefoxxx
She made a face, "Bread and butter pickles are awful. I know people say there's a time and place for them but I absolutely refuse." She nodded with a big smile talking about her favorite holiday market in the city, "He really is the best! I try to go in non busy times, but who the hell am I kidding it's always busy!" She nodded knowing where he was coming from, money depended on the week and she needed to take it week by week that was for sure. "For the quality alone it's worth it for me. Also we live in a place where there's so much option, how can you not find something in your budget?" She heard herself for a minute and knew she came off as a bit judgy and backtracked, "Oh no, I don't mean that you shouldn't do what you want to do, or anything like that. I just mean...Sorry. I can sometimes come off as rude when i speak. My mouth moves faster than my brain does half the time." She stepped up to the counter and ordered her sandwich, "What do you want, it's on me?"
He didn't feel like he had to be someone that he wasn't or someone that he was for his professional life. Emmanuel was just allowed to be himself and enjoy the time that he had in his free time. He was looking over at her as she was speaking so that she knew that he was paying attention to her. "Right, I totally understand that. That's why I like to spend a lot of my time at home so that I am not in those social environments where I am having to have to see all of the people who still need help and then I am thinking about how I can help them. Maybe that's why I'm so much of a hermit." Emmanuel chuckled a bit as he looked at Juliette. "Gosh, I feel like you need to get me out there more and let me enjoy myself and I don't think about other people around me." He laughed a bit. "What do I need to do once I get the diamond on your finger? I thought that I would have to pay for it now, but once I get that diamond on your finger then it would be free." He said to her as he raised an eyebrow at her. "Don't do this to me." @juliettefoxxx
She shook her head, "You don't give off hermit vibes at all! Are you asking me what I think you're asking? I can actually get you out of this apartment and show you the fun things about the city?" Her mind started racing on all the places she could take him, "You can honestly start by just coming to visit me at work! Sit at the bar and talk to the stranger next to you. That's the best way to experience it. You can even pretend to be someone else. Get out of your head, put on a character and be whoever you want to be. Kinda the beauty of the city is that you're likely to never see the person next to you ever again." She realized she's fucked up. Her cheeks went a deep red and she wanted to hide, sometimes her mouth works faster than her brain and she had to pay the consequences. "You're right i'm wrong. That's exactly what I meant. So much for trying to be witty, I should probably shut up and stick to anything else other than talking." She shoved a piece of chicken in her mouth to get herself to shut up for a second.
"Right? Like when you go to a diner or something, they only five you a pickle spear but at this place they give you the whole pickle and I think that's something worth celebrating." He explained to the woman. "So you might want something that's like a veggie sandwich? Not going to judge you. But I think I am going to go for the Italian sub and then go from there about what vegetables I want on it." He said to the woman as he laughed. "They really do. I feel like they don't get enough love and we need to make sure that they do. Do you want to have lunch here or take it to go and eat it outside?" @juliettefoxxx
"I love a good pickle, what's your favorite type? Have you ever been to Bryant park in the holiday time? There's a whole pickle stand there, called the pickle guys, it's my favorite part of the holiday market every year!" She looked over at him, wasn't sure if that's exactly it, "Um..maybe something with a little bit of turkey on it. I need some protein, but lots of cheese and veg." She nodded giving him all her attention where she should be thinking about what she wanted, "I always try and shop small, it's better for the city anyway!" She looked out the door at the weather and made her best judgement call, "Let's eat outside. It's starting to warm up."
There was a vulnerability that Emmanuel allowed Juliette to see. He didn't know what it was exactly but he was comfortable around her and he didn't mind being himself and letting loose when it came to her. She never judged him and he never had to feel like he had to be someone else around her. "Well you can always love what you do, but there's always some complications to it in that kind of statement. We love our jobs, but it can annoy us here and there. We love a certain show, but the writers just mess things up here and there." He said to her as he listened to what else she had to say about her career. "That's fine though and if you enjoy what you do then what does it matter at the end of the day? I know too many people who judge others on what they do even when they don't have a job themselves." Emmanuel explained to Juliette while looking at her before he decided to take a bite of the food that she had prepared for the both of them. "Thanks for having me. I'm loving free food." @juliettefoxxx
This is what easy felt like, this is what she strived for with anyone and everyone. Yet she had it here barely having to search for it anymore. She got caught in the comfortability of just sitting with this other person, getting caught in the mundane activities of every day life like having to feet ourselves, and yet it was fun. "At the end of the day nothing else matters, but while the day is going on it's hard not to get caught in the feeling of wanting to be something that will make people proud." She took a fork full of food and started filling her plate. "I'll never be the person making sure someone doesn't go to jail, or saving someone's life from dying. I worry sometimes am I making the people around me proud..it's not like anyone is really paying attention to me anyway." She let the last statement come out without caring what he thought, it was a throwaway statement in her mind. She smiled taking a bite of her food and giving herself yet another mental pat on the back. She's already forgotten what she's thrown into this specifically but it was damn good. "It won't be free once I get that diamond on my finger!" She brought the conversation full circle.

"Thank you for coming to get a sandwich with me. I know it's not the most luxurious lunch in the world but I think they make the best sandwiches in the city and plus they give you a whole pickle with your order. It's these smaller mom and pop shops that need more love. I feel so bad for the places that get messed with because of the monopoly system. It actually blew my mind when I learned that it was a real term and not just the name of a board game. Anyways." He chuckled a bit as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Do you know what you want to order? Because I'm still unsure."
"Who can pass up a pickle? It's like the good jewish deli on the corner by my apartment has the best whole pickles in the city. I swear!" She looked up at the menu, "Oh god, decisions are not my strong suit, i'm definitely more of a heavy on the cheese and light on the meats type of person!" She knew he always made her laugh and this time wasn't any different. "Mom and pop shops always need the love."
