“My name’s Foster, but you can call me Cupid if you want.”
“Perhaps if we’re ever on better terms. Foster’s too cool to ignore anyway. Hi, Foster, I’m Ryan.”
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt... that was a good one. You’re funny.”
“I think I picked a perfect time to arrive at this house. Happy Valentines Day ladies.”
“Happy Valentines Day. Do I call you Cupid, or...?”

“You’re hitting on me,’ Savon informed the girl, somewhat uselessly, as she huffed out a flustered laugh. It wasn’t a commonplace for her to be hit on because people usually found her intimidating or they knew that she was already spoken for. This girl didn’t seem to find her intimidating or know that someone else was already in the picture but Savon would have to tell her if it went any further than harmless flirting.
“I’m not sure I’ve heard anything said more adamantly.” she chuckled but waved a hand, “Relax. My demi-sexuality is blossoming more and more each day.” It was true Ryan liked a good flirt but she hadn’t slept around in months. She needed to be with people she could trust in case she had a panic attack. Thankfully, they were few and far between as of late. “Really though, I’ve gone to Paris a lot in the past. Fashion week, you know?”
“French,” she responded with a quick tongue, a small devious smile pulling at her lips as she did so, “of course. My maman named me after my grandmere. I was born in France, you know, and moved here when I was still young.”
“Thought so but I didn’t want to embarrass myself.” She listened to her origins with an intrigued nod, “That reminds me of myself. Though I was born in Italy and raised in Britain. You lucked out, the French accent is far sexier than the Italian one.” she joked.
“It certainly feels like it.” She insisted, giving the tiniest stretch before moving to sit somewhat next to the other. Listening to her, Tyler gave a brief shrug. “Nothing much to be honest with you love.. Ahh..” She paused. “Spoke to my brother in Iraq a little while back.. that.. that was good. What about yourself?”
Ryan’s eyebrows rose at that, only slightly, mind you. She just couldn’t imagine how terrifying it was be to have a family member in such a dangerous place. “That’s extremely noble. I hope he’s doing well.” She handed the drink over and let her normally cool, blue eyes warm as a subtle method of reassurance. “Oh, things are...getting better. I went through some shit a while ago that I’m still working on.”
“Punny” The Brit chuckled slightly, always being one to appreciate a good pun. Looking at the book the other woman was reading, Alexa gave a slight nod. “Have to say… I’ve never read that one before” Taking the class of wine once it was poured, she thanked Ryan for it before taking a small sip.
“The correct response.” Ryan smirked gently at the other woman. “It’s good...but I know it’s widely regarded as such. However you might just have a different opinion so I’d recommend it.” She took a sip too, “Film’s good too. Have you seen that?”
“Savon,” she responded, her french accent lilting and seemingly out of place with the rest of her as she spoke. It was something that happened, occasionally, when she was upset; her words grew more pronounced.
Ryan had to smile a little as she heard the woman’s accent accentuate itself a bit. It reminded her of when her Italian roots would make themselves known. “Beautiful.” she handed over the drink, “What’s that accent I hear?” She sat back again and took a sip.
“Guess who’s a complete idiot, and fell in the pool while trying to get nice pictures of the grounds? I’ll give you a hint, it was me. I do apologise if you find any wet patches anywhere…”
“Well how about a towel then?” Ryan grabbed a nearby laundered towel and placed it around the woman’s shoulders.
So.
I’m here. What are your next two wishes?
“I’ve always been a girl with simple tastes. I’ll keep the other two on hold for now. However, if you’re my genie...how did I wish for you? Did you just sense me rubbing on something really fast?”
Even more Kaya
Levi glanced back at the sleeping six year old momentarily, tucking her daughter into the blanket before glancing back over at the other girl. “Daughter.” The deaf woman replied simply with a soft chuckle, bringing her hands to her eyes to rub the sleep away from them.
Ryan smiled between the two, “Regardless, it’s very sweet. You two must have been really tuckered out. Did you have a long day or something?”
Finishing off a text to her sister back home, Alexa walked into a room and placed her phone in her pocket. “Wine? Of course you can always interest me in a glass of wine.” The blonde grinned. “Is that an interesting book?”
“I’m glad we’re on the same page...pun intended.” she lifted the book slightly and began to pour out a glass for the woman, “It’s Girl, Interrupted. I’ve read it so many times but had a real craving for it today.”
“Y'know mate – I feel like it’s been an eternity since we’ve spoken so.. sure, why the fuck not?” Lounging around in knee high sweatshorts and a simple sports bra, Tyler was never really one for modesty. With a torso of perfectly sculpted abs to match the rest of her toned body, perfected from years of fighting – she doubting anybody would really mind.
“It might actually have been that.” Ryan agreed with a nod, glancing at the woman’s physique briefly - she was polite but not devoid of curiosity and appreciation of the female form - before returning her gaze to the task of pouring her a drink. “So what’s the haps, Tyler?”
