I'm Yoru

Just someone who was looking for a place to upload her stuff.

Mainly gonna post stuff about my ocs and maybe (most probably) some ocxcanon stuff.

It'll be mainly writings, like small skits or info sheets about my characters.

Still have to figure out how tumbler works, so that's that.

Waves of Light, Akira Momonami

Upbringing

Akira Momonami, child of ( ) Momonami and ( ) Momonami, formerly ( ) ( ), was born in ( ) hospital on the 13th of April 19XX. Despite both of his parents being Momotaro, neither of them had ever worked for the Momotaro Agency for reasons unknown. Akira also has a younger sister who, like their parents, would never come to work within the Momotaro Agancy. The four of them lived in a smaller town within ( ) prefecture, in the same home his parents can still be found living in today. They lived a leisurely life, not lacking of anything.

He would enter ( ) elementary school in 20XX. Nothing noteworthy happened during his time there.

Six years later, in 20XX he entered ( ) middle school, one of the many public schools that are run by the Momotaro Agency. It was there that the Agency took notice of, not just his interested, but also his understanding of the human body. It's theorized that this interest stems from hearing his mother, who was a doctor, talk about her work.

Three more years passed, and in 20XX he entered ( ) high school, a school run by and for Momotaro. Not all who visit one of those schools is also going to enter the Agency, some don't get accepted, others choose not to join the Agency.

The higher-ups had high hopes for Momonami, especially after seeing what he can do wit his bacteria. However, for most of his time in high school Momonami didn't seem interested in joining the Agency at all, which worried a lot of Momotaro who had their expectations set on him.

After graduating at the top of his class he joined the Momotaro Agancy.

Ability

Momonamis ability can remind one of Momomiya , Kyotos Commanding Officer, and his ability to control corpses. They seem similar but are fundamentally different. While Momomiya simply uses his bacteria to control the corpses, Momonamis ability took this farther by somewhat temporarily bringing the dead back to life.

By using his bacteria he can forcibly reanimate the heart, temporarily fooling the body to belive it is still alive. The afflicted, while regaining some sort of consciousness, can not remember the life they had before they died.

For his ability to work the corpse needs to be in a “good condition”. That is why he only chooses corpses who don't bear too many injuries, if any, and deep freezes them until he puts them to use.

He can only keep someone “alive” for around a week, two at most. He can, however, reanimate multiple corpses at once, his limit being 13 before having to take a break from it.

His ability may seem powerful but he needs to prepare himself a lot, both mentally and physically, before he can actually use it. That is why he needs to take rather long breaks between reanimating “a batch of corpses”, as he would put it. His breaks often lasting a good few month if not a whole year.

Actions within the Momotaro Agancy

After graduating from ( ) highschool Momonami began his training in the Momotaro Agency. Many wonder what caused him to make this decision after years of seeming uninterested in the Agency, but a true reasoning could never be found. Each time he was asked why, he would just answer with sentences like “I just felt like it” or “I simply didn't have anything better to do” and there are some who believe that he really did make his decision solely out of boredom. Though, those who had known him for longer had always claimed that there seemed to be more behind it, like there was actually something pushing him forth.

He didn't stand out at all during his days as a trainee. He was just another of the many. The only thing that you could argue had made him stand out was his lack of social contact with his fellow trainees. This however wasn't his fault, he would willingly go out of his way to hold a conversation with someone else every now and again. It was the others who didn't want to have anything to do with him. He shared the same fate as other Momotaro whos ability was somehow connected to the dead.

This lack of social interactions wouldn't stop him from quickly rising the ranks.

He had a good grasps of his ability. He knew his limits and was willing to train more to extend them. Despite others claiming that he wasn't able to read a room, he still seemed to have an high enough EQ to easily talk people into following his lead. It didn't take him long to rise from an average trainee up to being given his own Unit to command.

He was first stationed to command a Unit closer to his hometown before later on being transferred to be the Commanding Officer of Unit 17, stationed in Kamakura. This transfer was due to the lack of leadership within Unit 17 and the constant rise of Oni activity in that area.

It was right there in Kamakura that he meet Ren Momokira for the first time and it would take less than a month for Momonami to request the higher-ups of the Momotaro Agency for a promotion so that Momokira may become his Deputy. It is unknown why he made this decision. It seems especially strange when you consider the fact that the two of them would go on to lead their Unit as two separate individuals.

Present

Momonami has been the Commanding Officer of Unit 17 for a good eight years by now. Within that time he has found a, for his ability, fitting attack strategy. By reanimating the corpses of Oni that had gotten killed before and sending them onto the streets he could lure out the Onis related to them, or the ones that would try to retrieve the corpses to give them a proper burial. Rather than going out and fight the Oni head on he's decided to stay in the back and leave the actual fighting to his troops and Momokiras side of the Unit.

Momonami attacks in irregular occurring waves. He sends out the dead to lure out their loved ones, has them killed and then takes a break to, simply speaking, let his ability recharge. In the next waves he can use the corpses acquired in the last wave to lure out more Oni. With this tactic he has already greatly reduced the number of Oni living in Kamakura.

Those within the Momotaro Agency, though not really understanding Momonami, still look up to him for his achievements, and the Oni fear him and the waves of light he may bring at any time.

Btw. In case that wasn't obvious, anything to do with the Kamakura part of both the Momotaro agency and the Oni corp is completely made up by me and thus NOT CANON.

Momotaro Agency, Unit 17, Responsibility: Kamakura

Unit 17, uniqu even among the Momotaro

Unit 17 is often avoided by the others due to their rather unique execution of the known hierarchy within the Momotaro Agency. Unlike regular Units, where the troops are lead by the Commanding Officers, with the help of their respective Deputy Commanding Officer, Unit 17 is, to explain it simply, split into two different Units.

One city, two leaders

The Commanding Officer and his Deputy do not exactly work together, as it is known from other Units. While they do support each other to a certain degree, they act sepretly, with the troops being allowed to choose who of the leaders they want to follow and work under.

As already mentioned, both leaders support the other. Ren Momokira, the official Deputy Commanding Officer, bring back corpses that Akira Momonami, the official Commanding Officer, can use for his iregular wave like attacks. In turn, during these attacks Momonami will tell Momokira about the homes of the Oni he had discovered so that he could get his daily dose of combat. With this pattern the two of them have established a symbiotic co-leadership. Why it is that they don't lead the troops as one, like all other Units do, was never discovered.

The stand of Kamakura

The co-leader ship of Momonami and Momokira has been going well. Kamakuras situation has improved drastically, in the eyes of the Momotaro, ever since the two of them came into power, as the number of Oni known t olive in Kamakura has fallen by a lot.

Unit 17 may operate very differently when compared to other Units, but their results speak for themselves.

Made an account just to talk about my Tougen Anki OCs

The account itself is lead by "J", aka another OC of mine. I created J purely so that I would have a more interesting reason to talk about my Tougen Anki OCs and the units I came up with

J themself is neither an Oni nor a Momo, they're just a human who happens to know about the whole scene. They search for and compromise information and share it online

Wistoria OC!

It's been a while since I posted on here.

Anyways, I noticed that the Wistoria fandom is more present here on tumbler than it is on Instagram so I'll also be bothering the people over here with my Wistoria OC from now on.

Am orphan with great talent. She's keen and learns quickly yet her intense fear of death keeps her from reaching greater heights. Not being able to protect others in battle she instead focused on studying healin magic. Despite the great deed of creating a spell of her own, she was not blessed with a colour after ascending to the tower. The colorless mege was later taken under Serahs wing and is planned to, one day, take over in her roll as mediator.

-As her name already gives away, she used to live in the Serfort orphanage, same as Will and Elfaria. She was brought there when she was six and didn't really interact with any of the other kids back then due to her mental state during that time.

-The reason why no faction wanted her is because she's a coward. There's no denying that her skills are admirable but the factions have no use for someone who refuses to fight, enter the dungeon, ect.

-She is shipped with Julius and untill we get the official story on how he survived (and I'll have to rewrite that while section of her story) is also the one who healed him back when he nearly died. That was also their first time meeting.

-Girl may be very dedicated to her studies but she still has some hobbies, her biggest one probably being baking.

Small scenario + what Najime says/thinks about others (part 2)

Scenario

/This one takes place shortly before they leave for Treasure Island

"It's like an on-board prison", Ukyo pointed out as if it's normal. He has exempted this way too quickly. We've got the guy who basically killed Tsukasa and the girl who just does everything to support him. Now we'll just take them with us? Out on the open sea? I get that we can't just leave them behind with the rest, but still... "I know I'm already on the ship, but can I leave again. Is that still an option?", I thought out loud despite already knowing the answer. "So orry-say but you're stuck. You decided to put your foot on board so now you're part of this all. There's no going ack-bay.", Gen suddenly came out of nowhere, just to tell me what I already knew, in his usual play-pretend tone. "You really had to go and point it out", I replied. As if his pure present wasn't already enough to annoy me. He didn't say anything in return. He just looked at me with his usual, closed eyed, put on smile before walking away.

Hyoga - He attacked Tsukasa and would've been responsible for the one and only death if the Stone Wars had it not been for Senkus plan. Yet he helped out on Treasure Island but I still don't like him. It's good though, he's petrified right now.

Scenario

/ This one takes place shortly before they left Treasure Island

"That's the one who would've killed you had your gamble on Hyoga not worked out, right?", I asked Nikki while pointing at the statue Taiju was currently carrying onto the ship. "That's him", she answered, sounding just as confused as I was. Still, I asked her: "Then why are we taking him back with us?" "Wish I know", she answered me pretty much how I expected her to. Knowing the top 5, this must've been Senkus or Ryusuis idea. I'm not sure if I'd even want to know what they were thinking.

What does Najime say/think about...

Moz - Was he helpful on the island? Sure, but that was only because the others talked him into it, and he pretty quickly turned on them too. He's petrified right now. That's good.

I already posted this on my Instagram yesterday but forgot to upload it here as well.

I'm kind of trying to push myself to finish her character sheet but I'm having fun right now just writing some scenarios, so I probably won't continue drawing anytime soon.

I already have written out quite a bit about her, like her life before the petrification and what she thinks about some of the other characters, and I'm planning to slowly but surely upload all of that too.

Character Intro

Small headcanon (? don't know what else to call this?) before the intro so that things make somewhat more sense.

It wouldn't have been impossible for Gen to have had some revival fluid on him when he switched sides, from Tsukasa Empire over to the Kingdom of Science.

It was Tsukasas decision to revive Gen, he trusted Gens judgment when he brought him to Senkus former hut and decided that he should be the one to look for Senku. I feel like it's safe to assume that Tsukasa had to have at least a certain level of trust in Gen.

We also know that Tsukasa already knew Gen before the petrification. Of course they only meet for one collab and there is little reason for us to believe that the two of them stayed in contact after that, however it's save to say that they were more than aware who the other was, in a matters of their social status. We know about Gens popularity before the petrification, so we can most definitely assume that his collab with Tsukasa wasn´t the only one he ever had. With his popularity he probably managed to meet quite a few people and most probably also had to have some connections, and Tsukasa, at the very least after his collab with Gen, was aware of this as well.

Tsukasa had to have a certain level of trust in Gen and he had a round about idea about the amount of people Gen must´ve known before the petrification. Gen was about to leave the Tsukasa Empire to look for Senkus "corpse" and no one knew where he would go to look for it, so it´s posible for Tsukasa to have told him to also be on the lookout for certain poeple he was wanting to revive, or just to see if he may come across someone he remembers having certain abilitys they were lacking in the Tsukasa Empire. It's because of this that I don't think it would've been imposible that Tsukasa entrusted him with a dose of revival fluid before he went out to confirm Senkus death. This way Gen could've directly revived and brought back someone they were looking for or needed.

I also feel like he wouldn't have had to return it back when he went to Tsukasa to tell him that Senku is in fact "dead". Even if Tsukasa had begun to distrust Gen at this point, if not already before then, was he also well aware of Gens abilities to trick people and look through their actions. If Tsukasa had distrusted Gen from this point onwards then he wouldn't have asked him to return the revival fluid he gave him because there was risk that Gen would've realised that he has lost Tsukasas trust. This would have left Gen in the possesion of, even just a small dose, of the revival fluid when he officially made the switch from the Tsukasa Empire over to the Kingdom of Science.

I didn't think this woud be so long.

Now that that's said, here you have the actual character intro.

Najime Saji

Former Job : (Faceless) Singer

Current Role : All-Arounder

She doesn't have any notable talents besides her singing, or that's what she thinks. What she has apperaently missed out on herself is her ability to quickly pick up on new things. She only needs to see the process of something being done once and she´d be able to recreate it. Of course, she'd need more time and her product wouldn't have the same quality as the one made by someone actually talneted in that field, but it would still be good enough to use. She also can't recreate anything too difficult after only seeing it's creation process once. It's a different story if someone were to actually take their time and teach her, than she may just be able to do it. It´s because of this that she has pretty much become an all-arounder, just helping out wherever she's needed right now.

She was revieved by Gen and Senku in the early days of the Kingdom of Scienc. She´s more on the quiet side, especially when meeting new poeple. Rarther say nothing instead of saying the wrong thing. This showed after her de-petrification. She didn't bring in any new ideas, she just did what she was told. Not starting any projects on her own. Or that's how it was in the beginning.

It took her a while until she felt comfortable around everyone, but it happened. This was mainly thanks to Suika, who she ended up spending a lot of time with, Kohaku and Kaseki, who both taught her a bit of what they each know, and, though she doesn't want to admit it, did even Gen constantly going on her nerves help her to loosen up around everyone.

The closer she is to someone the more likely she is to just speak her mind around them.

It was easier for her to get closer with others later on. Especially after the stone wars, when she quickly befriended Nikki and a bit later Minami.

She may not see her singing as useful but that didn't stop her unconscious habit of humming or singing to her self whenever she's concentrated.

Earlier today Senku and Chrome explained to Najime how to work with some chemicals and then asked her to take over a task. She just had to repeat the same process over and over again, so she agreed to do it. Both of the boys left once she got started and after a while Gen happened to pass by. He stood in the laboratories doorframe for a bit, watching Najime mindlessly repeating each of the steps before asking: "Do you even know what you're doing?" "Why start now", she answered him without looking away from the chemicals in front of her. Gen, who was visibly confused, let out a small "Eh?" in return. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm usually the one person in the group who doesn't know what's going on. So why bother asking now?", she explained to him.
