Jaehyun grew up on a small farm with his parents both being the caretakers of the property. He considered his childhood to be some of the best memories with them. As he too would go out there and assist with feeding the animals and maintaining the horses. Though when the boy hit the age of fourteen, that happiness and his quaint life was taken right from his grasp. His parents had been hit by a drunk driver while heading towards a small family gathering. His father was killed on impact where as his mother survived on a ventilator but was brain dead. A few days later Jaehyun’s family made the tough choice of taking her off of life support. It was then decided that Jaehyun would go stay with his aunt, who instead of living in the countryside lived in the big city. 

Of course when he moved there it was totally different than anything he was familiar with. It was like stepping out of a time machine and into a brand new environment. Due to that he had hardly any friends, except for that of a girl named Jasmine. She reminded him of home which is something that brought him immense comfort. This girl grew into the woman that he fell in love with, soon after having Nari with. Unfortunately she had complications from giving birth and did not survive labor. That left him and Nari to live out without her, leaving Jaehyun devastated. The boy felt like she was the only one that ever tried to understand him. 

Now Nari is four years old, already beginning to ask questions about her mom. To which Jaehyun is unsure how to really answer her most of the time. The boy is still torn up all these years later, something that he feels should be long in the past at this point. Yet due to her passing, he’s almost afraid to fall for anyone again. Plus the fact that he had Nari to worry about with whoever he decided to date one day. She was his priority and would always come before anyone else.

Definitely going to be a pto dad once Nari is in elementary school.
