FMP conclusion.

Started off better than I did, but due to getting a full-time job in April my time has been very limited to focus on what I wanted to complete for my FMP.

I have uploaded everything I have worked on over the past 3 months and I’m pretty proud of it. It may seem I have gone for quantity over quality but they were mainly paid opportunities I could not pass on. Although there isn’t much research or ‘why’ I have done certain things, which is what I have needed to improve on. I am the type of person to get an idea, do it and move on to the next thing, and I don’t think that trait about me will ever change, I want to keep moving forward and creating, and I am excited that I now have a full-time job where I can continue to do that.

It’s been great working with the other students on my course, and I am so proud I left that crap job in Admiral to come to uni and technically improve my skills in what I love doing. The course may have determined that I do not want to be a VFX compositor or 3D generalist etc, but it has solidified myself as a creative and that will always remain. I love doing music video’s, which is why I have pretty much remained on them throughout the course. But it has been great to get feedback consistently from the lecturers and they have really helped me through some bad times, especially through the second year with mental health. I’m hoping I’ve done enough to get a solid grade, but time will tell...

As part of my freelance work..

Over the past few weeks I have been working with established company Sitcom Soldiers - working on various edit jobs for them.

One has included an awesome opportunity - editing Jagermeister’s ICG advert to be played in CINEMAS! awesome.

I will link the video and their website after this, but I have been told my advert has already been seen in cinemas around the country. Well happy with this.
