Expanding on Material Definition + Symbolism in Visuals

Material Definitions
Manipulation through reflective materials -- Introduce mirrors for a familiar and intimate image of self in position to environment.
Water, the surface wavering distorts (disrupts) a steady image of the self and reflects in rhythmic motion light that settles and passes with the rising and setting of the sun.
[For Rendering]: Visualising stills that encapsulate these serene moments of lucidity, showing the body and spaces for self-reflection.
Think about the transitioning experience between rooms.. how they tie together but individually offer a small difference in programme.. Through material qualities and form, how can this be achieved/what does it aim to symbolise/ provoke? Interventions necessary for transitional motion.
Developing Design from Feedback
Providing an imagined escape that both gives itself to human and plant life as a healing and self-reflective escape. Trapped in a fabricated reality (digital realm) this project becomes universally available, its visualisation is a portal into a speculated dream of what a re-imagined garden has the potential to be.
This design is layered with complex and diverse influences coming together, this project ultimately tackles the restriction of the public body and its liberating/isolated desires.
In development from the last presentation, I carry on with designing more personal spaces -- spaces where one can feel closer to the site, promoting mediative motions and provoking empathetic/self realising emotions.
[Approach]: ‘Modern design and modern thinking’.. (expand on definition through design and influence).. Extending the structure, blending it into the environment..
Responding to Feedback
Reflective Lucidity --> Begin to break down clarifying properties of design, the awakening.
[Spatial Strategies]: Intervention, re-programming the site, curatorial methods, scale, alteration of space/atmosphere, place-making, complementary places, site-specific re-imagining, ‘proposal of renewal’ as a self-reflective enhancer..
[Replacing/Fusing Order]: Orders of Victorian Architecture with Modern approaches, what are the changes/replacements? How does this provoke architectural discourse?
In addition to architectural discourse the implementation of ‘dwelling spaces’ offer the introduced body a mediative and reflective area (space) with the re-imagined form. Open and communal spaces offer a large platform for communication, but individual spaces (without being confining) offer an alternative approach to healing --> in recognising oneself as the primary influence to life’s spectacle.
