"Most people don’t," she chuckled, feeling an air of confidence wash over her. She reached for the tie holding her ponytail, releasing the straight, chocolate-colored mane. "It’s because of how small I look that I normally win. People expect me to be some weak flyweight, but I’m just about the opposite." Something was missing. The stutter in her voice; that’s what it was. She no longer had that nervous atmosphere that constantly plagued her.

Resting a gloved hand on the crest of her hip, she smiled contently toward her partner. The moment he was silent, she hadn’t exactly understood why, until he nodded in what seemed to be approval. A sudden flood of red dusted her cheeks as she realized what he was looking at, and there was that nervous exterior once again. It seems that it hasn’t completely left. Out of habit, she formed a sheepish smile, offering a small giggle in response, until his expression changed once more.

"Purple belt," she claimed with such high esteem. "Top of my class for almost nine years." Oh, so he was asking for another example? Another smirk plaster on her face as Akihiko would soon find himself slammed against the ground once more through a flip, with her small frame hovering over him; her knee at his chest and her fist hanging over both of them. She lowered her head, those dark locks gently swaying downward.

"You were saying, Senpai?"

Hmm... purple belt, huh? He smiled and took a step towards her, curious as to what strength she posessed. "Impressi-" He began, but his words were swiftly halted with a grip, a flip, and a slam to the ground. He grunted as the wind was knocked out of him, eyes wide and gasping for breath. It wasn't until he finally managed to breathe again that he realized exactly what had happened.

Karin Igarashi, a 155 centimeter first-year, had just flipped him onto the ground. He stared up at her in disbelief, his grey eyes glinting with shock, and even some admiration. This... this was uncanny... He must be dreaming... Had he slacked off on his regimen? Not eaten enough protein? There had to be a logical reason for her beating him to a pulp like this. But when he saw that confident smirk, that gleam in her eyes. He knew it was all too real. This kid was good. Real good. It was insane.

"That... was incredible," he whispered, unable to pull his eyes away from hers, "How... how on Earth did you learn to do that? It took me years to get to where I am..." Was that jealousy in his voice? The man would deny it, but yes, he was envious of the first-year. Why could she fight like that with such little effort? It seemed so unfair. It didn't even occur to him that she was on top of him, as the shock from being annihilated had him too stunned for words.
