actually grieving over the underdeveloped character dynamics in vld right now. the first two-three seasons did a really nice job at setting up so many possibilities that were then utterly sidelined </3

The dynamics that they focus on/represent as duos the most (shiro and keith, hunk and pidge) are really well done and some of my favorites out of the whole cast, but it left things feeling lopsided when you see those nice believable dynamics and it doesn't hold true for the rest of the cast.
