In February 2016, Filipino fishermen discovered a white yacht named "Sayo" drifting 62 miles off the coast of Barobo in the Philippines. When they boarded the battered vessel with a broken mast, they found the mummified body of 59-year-old German sailor Manfred Fritz Bajorat slumped at his desk near the radio telephone, his head resting on his arm.
An autopsy revealed Bajorat had died of a heart attack around 7 years earlier. The dry, salty ocean air preserved his body. He had been sailing around the world for 20 years on his 40-foot yacht. His wife Claudia had sailed with him until 2008, when they separated. She died of cancer in 2010 at age 53.
A haunting note was found among his belongings: "Thirty years we've been together on the same path. Then the power of the demons was stronger than the will to live. You're gone. May your soul find its peace. Your Manfred."
Memories.

Do you ever feel like you were not meant to be here on this planet? That you don't belong here? That you should be at another place?
