Super sentai/Power Rangers color theory;
It isn't an exact science and how these are utilized depends on the writer(s) (and obviously there are exceptions) but I think this is how the suit colors and personalities generally corelate in Power Rangers and Super sentai;
Red-Stoic leader , energetic go-getter, rational/emotionally intelligent,if the team is on the greyer side they may be roguish and put their desires ahead of "doing the right thing".
Blue-Smart/intellectual,Serious minded/Stoic and cool headed (in sentai them being the "young punk" of the group or alternatively the "team dad" is also common). Another interesting thing about blues is that they can just being a genuinely nice guy or a sort of "hobbiest" where their defining trait is either how sweet and innocent they are or they have a very specific talent to the point of it being a defining feature. Female blues are rare but common enough to mention , they're typically level headed and pleasant/serene personality.
Black-Is often just quiet or the mature one( may be the stoic one if it isn't blue.) If not they're typically skilled but arrogant. It's common for them to be cynical or at least very negative/dour and as a result can be lone wolves. They're also often the physically strongest or most deadly in pure combat.
Green- can have the black/blue stoicism if we're talking about sentai,(they've also appropriated the young punk archetype from blue),in the states they can have the skilled but arrogant personality or be outright comic relief (which could be mixed with the other potential archetypes). They can also be the smart/intellectual one. If they're female they'll be energetic and positive, possibly a tomboy.
Yellow:If they're a dude in they'll be comedic and likely the strongest physically,if they're smart it's usually in an atypical way(In sentai male yellows can be an argumentative lancer/second in command). If it's a girl they're usually a tomboy or the "big sister" character,if not they're "traditionally feminine" (rare), unfortunately yellow rangers often get stuck with being underdeveloped.
Pink: Very kind. May be spunky or a little tough to show they aren't a pushover, this can even be swapped so that she's very tough and serious but a sweetheart on the inside. Occasionally they're the smart/intellectual one.
Sixth: Lone wolf who may have to get over himself or a whole ass clown. It's not uncommon for them to start evil and join the team later,may spend the rest of the season facing ramifications for this. Silver rangers are typically show offs, golds can be more skilled/disciplined though that'll always be mixed with the above traits. If they're color is also red they'll clash with the initial red and eventually reconcile they're differences. They can also be experienced mentor figures who have decided to join their students in battle ,and if they're a separate hero who doesn't identity as a ranger they'll need to form a sense of humanity or find it after having lost it.
Purple:very wise and often a mentor or intellectual. Are usually "strange" and have some sort of unique situation with their status as a ranger. May even be hiding some previous pain or past trauma.
Orange: Edgelord.Often overly serious and reclusive and keeper of a big secret.
White:Often the mature and "motherly" one if female,this for some reason is contrasted by the fact they're typically very young and if not they're a woman who's older than the rest of the team. If they're male they'll be powerful but have very little maturity or restraint to balance it out.
