October is breast cancer awareness month and I hosted a Beautycounter social at my house. My mom came aka “badass breast cancer survivor” and some more family and friends. I am donating a portion of my proceeds to the Breast Cancer Fund so they can continue to work tirelessly on raising $ to find a cure for this unwelcome guest to so many bodies...I took this selfie because @keepabreast has a #checkyourselfie challenge and I am taking them up on it! There’s a free app you can download to give you monthly reminders to do your boobie self checks and also a quick how-to guide. Part of the challenge is to tag 3 peeps to do this as well...so @teaalicetea @lizziesnyder @dperretty here’s to you to raise awareness and remind yourselves monthly to check your boobies! Because I love you and your boobies! ☺️💗 @beautycounter

Insomnia is for the birds

Well not really, because I don’t want birds to be so tired they can’t fly to their destination...but wait, if I’m so tired, then I can’t “fly” to my next destination...okay, clearly I need sleep but you catch my drift, right?

Every morning I wake up and look out my window and I see these two beautiful white flowery plants. Have you ever noticed how clear your eyes can be when you first open your peepers and/or after you open your eyes from meditation?! I tried to capture that and share. Take a minute today and just notice the beauty right around you. XO
