Sanya startled at the interruption, dropping her cigarette to the group and crushing it under one heavy boot. She pulled the leather glove sheâd taken back on in one equally swift motion, quickly regaining composure even though it was quite clear sheâd been surprised.Â
It felt odd to be away from her usual entirely military surroundings, even though no palace was truly a civilian place. She didnât quite know what to say without the usual flurry of salutes, so despite her best attempts to practice English before she made the trip she was left staring blankly for a minute.

     even though kate had been doing research on the buckingham palace and the surrounding areas ever since it was official that she would be sent to the summit, it was still a lot different to actually wander around herself. even this was quite the adventure, the unknown was making her more and more excited with every turn she took, reminding her of how much she already missed out there in the world. nevertheless, she kept wandering until she happened upon the other, a friendly smile appearing on her face.   â well, i havenât been there personally but i did some research prior to coming here. if youâre confident that weâll be able to find it using navigation, i do know one. â

was born to a rather poor couple and despite their lack of funds to care for a baby, they initially wanted to keep her regardless but soon they realized that there was something wrong with her and upon a check-up at the local hospital, it was seen that she had a rare heart condition which would require intensive care as there was no final treatment found yet.
at loss of what to do with their lacking funds, the parents decided to give her up. hoping someone who worked there would take her in, they left her at the door leading to the stables, knowing a hostler would go in there every morning. but that morning in particular, the king decided to go on a ride in the early hours and found kate himself.
it was almost instantly settled that she would be adopted into the royal family and everything was going well after that day until they found out about her condition during a check-up unrelated to it. ever since, katelyn had been under supervision 24/7, someone always around to make sure she wouldnât overwork herself as it could be fatal.
simply out of gratitude for her parents and not wanting to upset her family, katelyn went by the rules all her life, never left the country, didnât do anything that could endanger her well-being but itâs surely taking a toll on her, someone who dreams of adventures, meeting new people, building a life of her own, falling in love ...
