“Kind of. Considering if you were trying to sneak in to kill my King, well then we will have a problem.” It was a small joke, with a serious tone to it.
“Wouldn’t exactly call me a murder, poor as fuck maybe but not a murder.”

“Kind of. Considering if you were trying to sneak in to kill my King, well then we will have a problem.” It was a small joke, with a serious tone to it.
“Wouldn’t exactly call me a murder, poor as fuck maybe but not a murder.”
“We are immune to charm.” She said flashing her a smile. “I mean you’re not the first girl to come with a pretty face to ask to get in those front doors” The girl crossed her arm over her chest. “What are you doing here anyways?”
“Does it really matter,” she replied with a stern look and a shrug of her shoulders. “I’m not getting in anyway, just like you said.”
The girl chuckled. “I don’t handle the front doors, you can take that up with those guards.” Her eyes glanced over her. “Though I don’t think you’d make it through the front, I mean if you want my honest opinion.”
“I do have a certain charm,” she replied with a sarcastic bite to her words. Vee, given the number she had behind her ear in the spade symbol, wore semi-tattered clothing with fingerless gloves and was fairly thin for a girl of her age. She should be a lot more filled out but her cheeks were a little hallowed and her eyes sunk a little bit from the lack of food.
“A guard?” She finished her sentence for her as she dropped her hand, knowing the girl was no treat, at least not at the moment. “Civilians aren’t suppose to be around this area. If you are here to see someone in the palace there is a front door.” She said arching her eyebrow.
Vee cocked her head for a moment before she looked back to the palace and then looked back up to the guard. “You’d allow me through the front door without question?”
She was patrolling the outer walls of the palace. Not much ever went on on patrol and honestly it was the worst job to have, but she and to start somewhere so she sucked it up and tried to keep on a straight face. Turning the corner she noticed someone, eyes locking in she walked over slow her hands on the handle of her sword she she did. “A little close to the place aren’t we?”
“I wouldn’t exactly call this close but hey, that’s your opinion.” She shook her head for a moment, not realizing who was behind her and then turned around. The older woman had a little bit of height on her so she had to look up and squint in the sunlight. “Sh-- I didn’t realize who you were.”
