Japanese Street Style Lookbook
Now that I’m finally done with the 20th Century Decades, I can focus on your requests! First up is Japanese Street Style requested by an anon. I created a traditional Japanese and Lolita lookbook during my cultural series, so this one challenged me to learn way more about modern street-wear in Japan.
Modern Japanese fashion is a mix of both local and foreign labels and some are seen as extreme (to outsiders) and avant-garde. Fashion is all about self expression after all, and the many subcultures of Japanese Street Fashion go all out. I based most of these looks on actual people and you can find their photos here.
