Kendall Rhodes

I'm Kendall Rhodes, the oldest daughter to the one and only April Rhodes. I'm 23 years-old and I have a 5 year-old daughter named Gianna, she's my entire world. I'm currently going to school for fashion and design. I also model and work as a waitress. I have a sister named Addison and have an on-again, off-again relationship with my daughter's father.

I would say dog. You have always seemed like more of a dog person.

I don’t have a schedule. It’s just me and my apartment most days.

Oh, you know what I haven’t done since being back? Walk through Central Park. I haven’t made it that far into the city yet cause of the traffic but I’ve been thinkin I should.

It sounds like you need a dog or a cat. Although I’m more of a dog person. 

To be honest, I haven’t really done that in a long while myself. I would be in to take a nice walk in the park. I know I could probably use some fresh air in my life right now.

I believe that as well, but I can’t seem to grasp the bigger picture of any of the things that have happened thus far.

I wanna meet the little one sometime. Can we do like, dinner or something? I’m not good out and about yet so it would have to be something simple, but I would love to make you something maybe? We could just put on cartoons and eat crackers. Just feeling like I wanna reconnect.

One day you wake up and you’re suddenly an adult and it’s weird. It’s really weird. 

You’ll love her! She’s 5 going on 25, I swear. She has no filter, I have no idea where she gets that from. But I would love to do dinner sometime. When works best for you? I can work pretty well around your schedule.

Things are so different since school, ya know? Like I remember studying and walking in the library and lunch in the courtyard…. it was so simple. And I felt so connected to everyone. I miss that.

Tell me about it! I feel like everything has been crazy since then. Although I do miss the simplicity, I guess everything happens for a reason, right? Or at least that’s what I’ve been told.

Ah, yes. Well. I’ve been trying to spend as much time with my family as I can. It’s hard coming back and trying to catch up to everyone else. I’ve missed so much.

I’m glad you’re doing well. And yeah, things can def be worse. 

I’ve been taking care of my sister so that’s even more. Playing catchup always tends to be the hardest part.

I’m sure it’s weird. I’d think it’s weird too. She’s doing pretty good. I’ve been a little crazy with work and school and everything. Plus there’s my crazy mother I’m still dealing with. But you know, I guess it could be worse.

Knock on some wood. January and February usually go by fast anyway. It usually slows down around April-May.

I like when things are kind of slow.
