Kian was having writer’s block and could not seem to come up with a good piece to publish for his deadline. Packing his bags and leaving the office, he had an idea to walk around the various sections of the city to ask anyone who’d converse with him what they listen to. Taking a seat next to an individual, he immersed himself into their world, “Hey, how’s it going? Mind if I ask you a question regarding music for a piece that I’m writing?”
adella-doe:
Adella sat in one of her favourite bars, a drink in hand. Her eyes were trained on the TV with a look of almost disapproval. It was some strange documentary that reminded her more of propaganda than anything else. “What utter nonsense,” she muttered to herself more than at anyone.
“Adella, Adella,” Kian took a seat next to the vampire shaking his head. “Must we always be complaining about how retched this world is?” Chuckling at the poorly messaged political advertisement, he reached out for her drink to take a sip. “You alright?”
lccxnda:
“Never have I ever played this dumb ass game with some other dumb ass and come out of in worse shape than anyone else.” As might have been expected, Cinda knocked back the shot, effortlessly at first until she caught the bitterness on the back of her tongue and winced, slightly dazed already, “What in the fuck are we drinking? Are you trying to poison me?”
“Ahh so you’re implying that you’re the dumb ass for happily taking the drink from me?” he inquired. Tossing back the drink with her he winced as well as the liquid entered his system. “I don’t know and maybe? I just mixed a bunch of things,” he simply shrugged. “Never have I ever...called someone the wrong name during sex?”
ashcrdvnprt:
“Hope you weren’t plannin’ on gettin’ anywhere too quickly.” He muttered almost too quietly, the unlit cigarette hanging from his lips forcing his words to blend together a little more. “Blocked off 69th and Lex, robbery or somethin’.” Or something indeed. If everything had gone to plan, they’d be long gone and the cops would be left chasing their tail —- and Asher could sit pretty, waiting it all without lifting a finger. Perched on the bottom step of the building, he pinpointed the other with a near candescent glint in his eyes, “— you gotta’ light?”
“Do I ever show up on time to anything?” Donte asked taking a seat next to Asher. “Well damn. Wonder if they got away with anything good,” he shrugged. Technically he could rob a store and get away with it, but what fun was that if the individual who you were robbing was neither there or only held at gunpoint. He’d rather haunt them in the dead of night with their deepest fears any day. Fishing through his jacket pocket, he tossed the werewolf his lighter. “So what’s been up with you man? Gone MIA or something? Rehab? Don’t tell me you’re trying to get clean.”
casperbordeaux:
“Every time I say something nice to someone, they screenshot it,” the original stated blankly, shrugging and furrowing his brows lightly as he looked at the person he was speaking to, “I know I’m not nice often, but enough is enough. I’m tired of people blackmail me with it later.”
“Maybe if you weren’t an ass all the time you wouldn’t be having this issue.” Donte was laying on the ground scrolling through his phone as Casper voiced his concern. “Besides, since when did you start giving a damn about what people say?” Suddenly he stopped, thinking of who may have told him, that now got him all riled up. “Was it that blonde girlfriend of yours?”
slcanechappell:
“I like to think talking to you goes towards my community service hours,” the hunter stated bluntly to the individual who was clearly overstaying their welcome, fake smile plastered across her lips and added a wink to seal the deal.
“Ouch Sloane,” he pouted pretending she just placed a dagger into his heart. Now he certainly wasn’t as nagging or persistent as his second ego, but he knew she could only have been joking with him. Or at least that’s what he’d like to believe. “I’ve been degraded to community help? I’m heartbroken. Truly, I am.”
