Working at the Cafe || Open
Kiba sighed quietly to himself as he stirred out of bed from his nap. There was no school today, seeing as it was a Saturday, but he had other plans. Such as work. The man never liked working but it made money and boy did he enjoy having his own money to spend whenever. He wasn’t from a rich family, actually more of a poor family, so having spare money to buy whatever he pleased was nice. Half of his checks went to his savings though. College funds and all, blah blah. Kiba was surprisingly very fond of his job, I mean, it could be worse. He had worked at Bartley’s Cafe which was pretty close by to his residence and that pleased Kiba very much. He was lucky to have even gotten a job there considering how many highschoolers that must have applied there for a part time job. It was probably the easiest and one of the more peaceful jobs in the world. He wouldn’t mind owning a cafe and working in it for the rest of his life, living comfortably nearby.
The boy had gone through his daily morning routine, doing the same old thing. Walking Akamaru, brushing his teeth, getting changed into his work clothes, and eating a small doughnut before rushing out. Kiba took his jolly ol' time and slowly paced towards his destination. His thoughts had been filled with random things such as school and dogs. But finally, the man entered the cafe, ready to start the day.
The morning had gone by quickly and the business was slow, like every usual Sunday morning. Kiba was currently washing off the counter top from some of the coffee that leaked when he handed it to his last customer. Then he heard the little golden bell at the top of the door ring, signaling his next customer. The tall guy set his cloth aside, and glanced up at the person and smiled. "May I help you? Our cookies are on sell today, only $1 for two." He stated, repeating his usual Sunday line.
