Taguchi sat down with him upon request. He was excited to hear that they had an opportunity so he was more than willing to sit down. He grabbed the tea and began to sip it.

As soon as his cameraman finishes his tea, Kou is prompt to pour more from his teapot into the cup. He needs to keep his hardworking employee hydrated, after all. Kou smiles serenely, “I’m going on a show to talk about my best-selling novel. It’s not just about me, though. They were begging me to be on the show and I told them that I would not do it unless my best camera guy is a part of the filming.”

    And just what sad disaster was she about to witness here? Sure, Seiko doesn’t know this guy or his deal so she’s trying hard not to come to any assumptions but…. well, when you’re staring at tampons like they’re in braille you obviously don’t know what you’re doing. Maybe he was shopping for his wife or daughter? Who knows but, lord, if someone didn’t step in only God can tell you what the stranger would end up buying.

     “Heyyyy…. you’re looking a little, uh…. lost.” Seiko manages in between muffled snickers. “Need some help there, dude? I’m guessin’ you don’t usually do the shopping on your own, if ya know what I mean.”

Adults like himself are usually calm and collected. However being caught amidst his own fumbling mess was quite embarrassing, especially when the female offering to help him was stifling back laughter. A sheepish smile formed as a response to the student, attempting to recollect himself.

“Thank you miss, but I think that I can handle myself. It shouldn’t be that difficult to pick something out.” As soon as Kou reached for the nearest box to take off the shelf, the shelf collapsed and cases of feminine hygiene products fell at their feet.

This was troubling. Naho-kun was relying on him, yet the older gentleman was at a complete loss. He stood out quite a lot in the woman’s hygiene aisle, unsure of what to do besides scan a few of the items on the shelves. 

“...What unearthly company would name their product tampax? These...come in different sizes too? I...” What in the world is the difference between pads and tampons? Wing or wingless??

You and Naho-kun both are admirable.”
