Iām grown, I can make up whatever I want.
You aren't sounding very grown. [sips at his tea]
-
Part of being grown is the freedom to act like a toddler.
I think you just made that up.
I'm cold..
You should ask them to get you more jackets.
-
Lalala, Iām not listening to you, Iām a grown woman and can call you a cutie if I so desire.
You're not acting veryĀ grown.
-
Iām older than you, you donāt get to tell me what to do.
I think I just did.
-
[Clutching the mug in her hands, she grinned.]Ā But Kieran, youāre myĀ favorite.Ā And you made me tea. Just look at that adorable smile, my heart just grew three times itās size.
You're terrible. Stop it. Behave.
-
Youā¦[Alexis blinked several times as she watched him make the drinks before smiling softly at his words.]Ā Youāre definitely the most preciously adorable person I have met in my entire life and Iām going to keep you forever.
Oh, stop it, behave yourself. Take your tea, and behave yourself.
-
Well shoot, I guess Iām going straight to heck.
[the beeping of the microwave makes him jump] Oh, that's the microwave, but you knew that, I'm sure. Most people would know that. Frighteningly loud. [he continues to ramble as he takes two empty cups, places two teabags (one in each) and then pours the hot water from the other cups into each empty cup] That was terrifying. Like a toaster. Or a Hoover.
Iāll do anything to save my soul. Except the pond. Iām not going in the pond again.
This isn't going to work. The pond is the only option.
-
Appropriating your culture. Disrespecting your country. Iām a monster, really.
You're terrible. You've got to be stopped.
-
Stop, no, donāt say that theyāll put it on my record. āSo what were you in an asylum for?ā āBrits and their teaā.Ā
Alexis Grey: Racist. [he takes two cups and fills both with water before sticking them in the microwave, mumbling about how it felt wrong to microwave tea.]
How am I supposed to know if thereās a teapot? You havenāt made tea since coming here?
Racist.
-
I think youāre ridiculous.
That's a rude thing to say to a stranger. Am I being bullied? Are you bullying me?
-
It never has been. Now tea. Make it. Me Tarzan. You teach.
Is there a teapot? I wouldn't think we'd get a teapot.
-
One: Itās not the truth about you. Two: they arenāt lies and you canāt control my thoughts unless youāre a superhero, which I havenāt quite ruled out yet. Three: if you expect me to bend on the subject youāve very much underestimated how stubborn I am.Ā
Mm, stubbornness isn't exclusive to you, then.Ā
-
Kieran, I really donāt mind it. Pinky swear. I never have. Now get in the damn room, I need caffeine.Ā
I'm going to continue to say the truth about myself in front of you, as long as you keep thinking lies about yourself. [enters the room]
