Help a teen

I was getting ready to cut my yard and saw two teenage boys coming down the road with a lawn mower knocking on doors. I asked them how much they would charge to cut my yard. They looked at it and said twenty five dollars to cut the front and the back yard. It was a deal. It was more than just saving me time, and energy at the cost of $25.00. It was about building a relationship with them and encouraging there efforts to make money the right way. Help a teen if you can in some small way.

Great scripture reading this morning. 1 John Chapter 2, Verses 3-6 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. Get Wisdom

A few days ago I read the passage below.

Proverbs 4: 7-9 7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. 8 Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. 9 She will place on your head a graceful garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”

What stood out to me about it was verse 7 which says "The beginning of Wisdom is this: Get wisdom.." When I read this I thought to myself that we as christian need to be intentionally seeking wisdom. We need to be educating ourselves on different things that will help us effectively serve the Lord. I feel as a artist I have grown, but I have not spent much time learning the art educationally. I seek to do that now through fellowship with other artist and research.

New Tumblr

It's 1:23am on the 4th of July 2014. I just created my tumblr account with the hopes of sharing some of my life with all who care. I'm feeling pretty tired, but I am happy that I completed a song today....or yesterday for my Cd I would like to release soon. I haven't made music in awhile, but it's time for me to get back to it as I am currently between jobs. It's time for me to make a push forward into what the Lord is calling me to do. I hope you have sweet dreams.
