Just tuning in to say that podcasts are my LIFE now. I have to sit in an empty room for 5 hours at a time, the compressor at my side, the old microscope (which throws off heat like crazy) in front of me. Putting daphnia in small jails and injecting RNA into the back of their heads. For science.

I would go absolutely CRAZY if not for podcasts. I already stress listened to TMA for my last exam (I couldn't leave my room at night because of Michael) and just now got through the entirety of the Juno Steel saga and I LOVE IT.

I tried it a few years ago, I hated Juno, he was a whiny self centered Bitch, but I fought through that fist season again and guess what? Not as bad as I remember! And it just got better from there. Just. So much creativity??? Character development??? OUTSTANDING voice acting???

I basically conditioned myself to anticipate injecting Daphnia for unspeakable amounts of time so I can listen to more.

Quick reviews of other podcasts I picked up again or started new:

Alice isn't dead: in equal parts better and worse than the first time. Listened through it, don't really care for it

King falls AM: I don't understand the fuss. I fought through it and honestly? Just not very good. Jack in the Box Jesus is the best character and it got a few laughs out of me, great musical episode, drama is... decent. I thought Emily was cute at first, but then all the emotions and drama around her were just. So. SO predictable. I think I dropped it around episode 70, it tried to build up tension and I just wasn't feeling it. Also I get that some ppl are "offensive" and that's the joke, but they just won't let it go? They don't let the jokes die?? Bad radio hosts, cut the lines!!

Wolf with a number: eeeeeh might try again later? Main character unlikeable, and I really don't have the patience for that. AGAIN. Juno is love, Juno is life, but I can't listen to some ass for a full season again. Also it failed to build up any tension for me after being too silly at first.

Second Citadel: actually, quite good! Ser Damien is endearing and the worst character at the same time. I love him. All others are precious too. Lord Arum is my TYPE. Oh and Caroline or whoever can go, she's rude. But also kinda funny.

I might pick up WTNV again too, I think I left off around episode 70 or so...

Oh my gosh my granny wants to get a cat, and she said I could help her with it! :D I've wanted a cat since Tweety died, and that was years ago. I personally don't have the time, room or money for a cat, but my granny certainly does! And if I help I hope I can prevent bad things from happening (like the cat getting outside... I hope I have convinced her to keep it indoors only. Bad things happen to outside cats).

I've been looking at shelters but unfortunately there aren't any fitting ones near us. But we have time, and I hope we find the right cat sometime :D

This is the new cat, Susi! :D the shelters didn't have any cat that fit, but I found Susi over Ebay and she's a good fit too. She's slowly warming up to us, and she let me pet her head today!

She's also very different from my other cat, who was an angsty pushover who didn't play but loved to cuddle and chat. Susi loves play, gets very extra over food (She even bats and hisses at you when you stop giving her treats) and so far, I don't trust her enough to touch her and not beat me up.

But it's fun to finally have a cat who plays! :D

Inktober commission #6 is the Longest Boi for @kingyo-diva ! I have to admit, there was a while there where I wondered how I was going to fit all of him on the paper. It’s good to draw some creatures that are out of my usual repertoire, and this guy was a joy to draw on top of that.

I've been gushing about your piece all day long to everyone who I could grap, and I'm still not over how handsome he is!! He looks fantastic!!! Gosh his hair looks fabulous!!!!!!! And the kelp really completes the scenery! I just love it, and I'm so happy that you like him! :D

You are right, there's a bit of bichir in there xD When I first designed him I was unsure about keeping those fins, but then I found out about bichirs and had to keep it like that xP There's also a frilled shark and some cetacean in there, and a bit of human, too. He's a chimera of sorts. And I'm delighted that he looks so happy!!

I finally had fun at university again! We did some animal behaviour tests this week and we trained bees, weighted ants and vibrated crickets. The bees. Were some feisty lil bitches. Imagine.

Some of them died, but tbh some were just very, very stupid. Sometimes it was my fault tho.

No hissing roaches were harmed btw, I just love them SO MUCH. When they crawl over your hand you can feel a slight air current from their breath. It's fascinating!!
