So, this is the last video we made. We made this as a documentary of the Assistance League in Bellingham. This shows my understanding of standard 1, because I filmed many parts of this video. This also demonstrates standard 5, because I operated a camera during filming. Since I was heavily involved in editing, it shows my understanding of standard 6, with the cuts and transitions.
This was a video I helped to make, which is basically a movie trailer of a different genre. This shows standard 6, because I helped to advice where clips should go and where we should cut them. This also shows standard 7, because we cut the clips so that it would add a dramatic affect and our new movie title.
This was a video we made for BJTAC. This demonstrates standard 1, because I filmed about half of this video using different angles and panning around my surroundings. This also shows standard 2 because I filmed a few interviews and had to make sure that the audio was working properly. This also shows standard 4 because we had to do a lot of planning to create this video. And shows standard 7, because I helped to come up with the idea to use some of the effects. This also demonstrated standard 10 with flexibility because we needed to change the storyboard at the last minute.
This is another video we made for the school’s club fair. This shows standard 2, because for this video I filmed one of the angles and also took a few of the interviews. This showed standard 5 because I operated a camera and helped guide my peers on what they should film. Showed standard 6 since when we were editing we tried to make sure each club had close to the same amount of coverage and standard 7 because we added the names of the clubs as they walked by. And lastly, standard 10 in the fact that this required a lot of organization,coordination, and teamwork.Â
This is a video we made for one of our school’s consular. This shows standard 4, because we needed to  do a lot before we were ready to film. This included meeting with Mr.Smith and writing a storyboard, also rewriting it so that it would be close to what Mr.Smith wanted. This also shows standard 6, because I helped to decide how to cut the clips and transition between them. Lastly, standard 10, because this video required a lot of patience, communication, and time management.
This was one of the most stressful videos I made, since it was planned, filmed, and edited in about 3 days. This shows my understanding of standard 4 because I did a lot of the storyboard for this and brought most of the props. This also shows standard 5 because I was in this and did a lot of the directing for this video. This also show standard 6 & 7 because we timed it so that the words we added stayed for the right amount of time and had to cut the shots so it looked nice in the end. Standard 9 was shown again in the music selection. Lastly, standard 10 since we needed to work as a team and I showed leadership skills to make sure this got finished in time.
This is by far one of my favorite videos I made, because I feel like at this point I was starting to show my understanding of making a video. This demonstrates standard 1 because I had helped to set up the cameras, standard 3 because i helped with light placements, and standard 2 & 8 because I helped to test the microphones to ensure the audio would work. Lastly, this shows standard 7 because I added the words and edited this video.
This video was the second one I worked on. This shows the beginning of my understanding of standards 1 & 2, in that I took one interview and also did a voice over-right. Â Â
This is the first video I made. This demonstrates standard 4, because in this video I created a story-line and came up with ideas of how & where we should film. This demonstrates standard 5 as well, because I was in this video. And standard 9 is shown here to because the music we selected was from a free music website so it wasn’t copyrighted.
