lol you abandoning this blog proves ur so irresponsible i dont know why i even bothered following you in the first place your writing is between mediocre to not good at all! >:(< shame
I do not know how long this message has been lying in my inbox already. Donât get me wrong, Iâve only gotten the chance to see this because I needed to view a post Iâve saved in my drafts in this account. I do not have any plans in actually returning.
If leaving this blog in order to fix my priorities in life, especially when it comes to academics, means that Iâm irresponsible, then so be it. But please do remember that I was never paid to do this. For the whole 13 months of my stay here, I tried to be selfless by sharing works Iâve always been afraid of posting due to insecurity issues. Donât get me wrong, yes? I actually enjoyed the outcome, especially when people compliment my work. It boosts my confidence from time to time. I want to thank everyone for that. I also want to thank everyone who became my friend through this account. Â Moreover, as said before, I never really wanted to leave this blog, but I guess that the time has come for me to let go of this already because I need to start focusing more on the demands of real life than the demands of this blog (well, not just this blog since I left my other accounts as well).Â
Darling anon, I never forced you to follow me in the first place. You have a problem with my writing? If you have felt that thing, you should have unfollowed. Iâm sorry if ever I made you cringe because of my works. Iâm just a newbie writer and I know that I still have a lot to learn.Â
âAkashi Seijuurou! Youâre scaring the people!â you chided as you sent looks of apology to the men threatened by Akashiâs death glare.Â
âItâs what they get for staring at you too much,â he calmly answered, not getting why youâre just letting these men glue their eyes on you. âYou are my date, (f/n). They do not have he right to look at you so intently.â
âSei, Iâm pretty sure some of them just wanted to greet me. Theyâre my friends, too, you know?â
âWell, they can greet you on Monday before class starts.â
His reasoning made you roll your eyes. You knew Akashi always had a side like this and you just hated it whenever it shows. Itâs as if half of his brain stops functioning for a while as his sense of reason vanishes into thin air. A pain in the ass, it has always been.Â
âAkashi Seijuurou, theyâre just being friendly, okay? No need to kill them by your tormenting gazes, I swear.â
âBut---â
âAkashi Seijuurou! I swear to God, one more rude stare and youâll be date-less this night!â
âYour offer is quite unreasonable, (f/n).â
âYouâre the unreasonable one, Sei! Oh my---â
âOkay then. Iâll stop, but in return, trying getting back your cool. We still havenât been on the dance floor, remember?â he smiled, standing up from his seat before offering a hand to you. âCan I have this dance, (f/n)?â
...and as if the little argument didnât exist at all the moment you started swaying to the mellow music filling the hall, Akashiâs arms around your waist. The distress immediately evaporated as your mind focused on how beautiful the moment youâre in now.
after 13 months of blogging through this account, i can really say that iâve fallen deeper in love with the art of writing and reading. thank you all for taking time to read my works and actually talking to me, whether itâs about works of mine/other writers, or anything kuroko no basket-related, or anything anime-related, or life in general. i will miss this account, really.
i took a look at my queue and there is only one post remaining that would be published in the next couple of days. in all honesty, i donât think i can fill it with new posts. iâm already too busy with acads, org work, and daily life drama; i honestly feel bad for somewhat neglecting this blog that once became my refuge, but i guess i really canât help it.
to my friends and followers, thank you so much for all the memories that weâve made through the 13 months of kisekinoscenarios. the journey is truly memorable and iâm more than thankful for meeting amazing people like you. take care always, people. if you still want to keep in touch, i have snapchat, instagram, twitter, and line. feel free to ask for my username/s in any of these social media platforms. also, i also have my other blog, @oreopng. we can follow each other there. just give me a heads up so that we can still talk through that account.
to my blog, kisekinoscenarios, thank you for the wonderful experience. iâm sorry that i have to say goodbye. i promise to write something whenever the words tickle my mind and heart. i promise to write.
goodbye and hereâs to the memories weâve made alongside with these basketball idiots!
âDaiki, I swear to God! If you wonât be here in two minutes, you need to look for a new prom date! Gosh, you can really be an asshole at times!â you yelled through the phone, head already throbbing due to all the worrying youâve done for the past hours.
âBabe, can you make that two minutes five? I mean---â
âTwo minutes!â you said firmly. âYou told me yesterday that youâd pick me up at quarter to seven! Aomine Daiki, itâs already thirty minutes past eight and the prom had already started an hour and thirty minutes ago! This is my first ever promenade, you know that! I donât need you to ruin---â
You were interrupted by the sound of the doorbell ringing. You stomped your feet as you marched towards the front door, the heels of your shoes making noise in the process as it gained contact with your wooden floor. You didnât really need visitors at the moment. However, to your surprise, there was an Aomine in front of you, all sweaty and panting. Only a minute had passed since youâve given him the threat and yet there he was, trying to catch his breath, a forced smile plastered on his face.
âI totally forgot about your corsage, so I looked for a flower shop. Had a hard time, though. Iâm sorry babe. I didnât mean to ruin this for you.â
After hearing the reason of his tardiness, all your anger sublimed, a soft smile replacing the scowl on your face. He wasnât really a pure asshole, after all.
You both entered the venue, your trembling hands in his. It was your first ever prom and never did you expect that Kise Ryouta would be your first ever prom date. Your heart raced at the thought of it, the uneasy feeling in your stomach being an unnecessary bonus. Your discomfort was pretty evident and it made your date worry as he looked at you, a pout eventually drawn out of his face.
â(l/n)cchi, is everything alright?â he asked, forehead lightly pressed on yours.Â
âI-Itâs just that, the eyes of so many people are on us. Itâs making me nervous,â you stammered.Â
The pout on Kiseâs face was soon replaced by one soft smile. In all honesty, it was already enough to lighten up your mood. It was so beautiful and you didnât blame the other girls - and boys - for envying you. After all, Kise Ryouta was the one who asked you to be his prom date - it actually became the talk of the campus for days.
âIt will be fine. This is our night. Letâs make the most out of it!â he beamed as he gave you a comforting squeeze on the hand.Â
And you didnât know why, but you just believed in what he said as the both of you made your way to the dance floor before dancing to each and every song the DJ dropped for the night, treating each dance as if it would be your last.Â
hi! i was just wondering why you became so inactive in this blog? i've been your follower since you started this and you were really active last year? but then over the months, you became really inactive and if i'm not mistaken you havent opened your ask box to requests recently? is anything bothering you? did you lost interest in writing?
Hello there! The blog isnât my number one priority at the moment since Iâm taking up summer classes so that I wonât have to take this specific Chemistry class for the following semester. This thing that we call midyear class is quite fast-paced since a semester of a certain course is condensed into a month. Also, once the official semester starts, I really need to focus on my studies again. Aside from acads and daily life drama, nothing specific is bothering me, donât worry. The main reason why Iâm not opening my ask box for requests is because I know that I wonât be able to do them and they might just rot in my inbox. I hope you understand!
âClose your eyes, idiot,â he demanded as his right hand dug into his pocket. Chuckling, you complied to the command of your prom date, slightly nervous about the possible shenanigan heâs about to pull. However, seconds later, you felt a cold sensation on your chest, which also soon found the perimeter of your neck. It made you shiver, but you still decided to wait for his go signal to remove the cover of your eyes. You heard him curse under his breath, as if he was struggling to put something together, your heart beating faster in the process. âOkay, open your eyes now.â
Your eyes immediately found the crook of your neck, your hands trembling in joy as you saw the pendant of the necklace he just put on you. A surprise, it truly was. âThank you, Makoto! Youâre really the best!â
âPsh, no big deal. Câmon, we have a prom to attend to. Heard from Hara that the punch tastes great,â he muttered, trying to hide the faint blush he had on his cheeks, not wanting to get teased by you.
âCall it what you will: eternal damnation, a curse from the gods, but you are going to fall in love and it will feel like being split open with the dullest of knives, jagged and cruel.â (x)Â

The sound of the waves crashing on the beach shore filled the ears of the crew as the cold sea breeze relentlessly touched their skin. They were already starting to prepare for the photo shoot the following days. Everyone was already tired from the strenuous seven-hour boat ride just to get to the island the chief editor personally picked for the shoot. It would be a week-long shoot for Kise Ryoutaâs section in the magazine. The body of land surrounded by water was a beautiful place, so serene, so tranquil. It was the place that made many soul searchers who travel for their goal stop for a moment before swearing to the heavens that theyâd be coming back for more. The island named Calypso touched the heart of many, making them fall in love with it as each day passed by. It was a paradise on Earth that never failed to captivate passersby, eventually attracting them to it, like a sirenâs song.
-
âA job well-done, Kise-kun! Thatâs it for today! Team, you have done great as well,â the photographer yelled as he wiped off his sweat, proof of the effort he had been putting for the last hours just to chase the 4 PM daylight that would soon turn into something of darker orange â it was not what he wanted for the photographs.
After changing into more comfortable clothing, Kise decided to have a short walk on the infamous shoreline of Calypso. He kept on seeing pictures of it, together with the sunset, caves, and many more local attractions, on social media and he was honestly intrigued by the island due to its popularity. Now that heâs finally on it, Kise Ryouta must admit that the pictures didnât really lie â well truth to be told, the actual thing was ten levels more alluring than the things he sees on the Internet.
The day was tiring as always. His muscles were somehow aching due to the poses he did and his chest was feeling heavy because of the test of patience he had gone through together with the co-workers just to get the job done on time. The sensation of the water tickling his toes and soles became some kind of light massage as his eyes laid upon the soon-to-be-setting sun. It wasnât as bright as the sun that welcomed them upon their arrival at the island, making it more bearable to the eyes.
âBeautiful, isnât it?â a sweet voice from behind interrupted the now short-lived serenity the model had. âThe skyline, I mean. Iâm pretty sure you rarely see sights like these in the city.â
Kise furrowed his brows at the sudden additional presence which he deemed to be unnecessary. However, he didnât know why, but it was as if he lost control of his body for it suddenly went curious about the source of the interruption. And as if some kind of magic spell was cast upon him the moment he laid his eyes on you, the scowl on his face immediately vanished, his facial muscles relaxing once again.
âFirst time here?â you asked, a faint smile on your face was drawn just to appear more welcoming.
Still tongue-tied, the blonde model just nodded. He looked at you in awe, as if it was his first time seeing a beauty like you. For the past years, Kise had already encountered an immense number of gorgeous people and some even managed to make his heart beat a little faster than usual, however he had to admit that never did he encounter someone that was able to catch him off guard with just a small â probably not fully sincere â smile. It made his stomach churn, made him nervous, made his mind go blank.
âI hope you enjoy your stay then.â
Kise wasnât able to say anything else for you already walked away from him and he was still stunned by the things about you that he had encountered so far. Although he knew deeply inside that he sure would enjoy the stay and heâd make sure to it that he wouldnât let go of you that easily.
-
The second day of the photo shoot was already put to an end and everyone was already waiting for dinner as it was already seven oâclock in the evening. Well, everyone except for Kise Ryouta, that is. He found himself walking along the shoreline where he had seen you. Laughing at how foolish his actions were, he still hoped that youâd show up even if it was already dark. He wanted to feel the bliss he discerned your presence had brought him. And this time, he swore that heâd be able to keep his composure.
And well, you actually did appear, as if some kind of fairy godmother heard the wish he had from the deepest part of his mind. You were carrying a basket full of ripe mangoes when you happened to pass by the model. Out of panic and not wanting you to suddenly disappear once again, he suddenly ran towards you, eventually blocking your way.
You looked at him in confusion, though still calm as ever. âHow may I help you?â you inquired, looking him straight in his honey gold irises.
Kise knew he couldnât go speechless once again. He didnât really have all the time in the world and you so did you. He had five days left and if he really wanted to know you better, he shouldnât let this chance slip away. His conscience was making his heart ache due to this decision, but Kise was a stubborn person and like everyone else, heâs human and he has the tendency of being selfish, greedy, and lust-driven.
âI-I-I...well, uhm,â he stammered, hoping his brain would come up with an alibi that wouldnât creep you out. âDo you need help in carrying those?â he sheepishly asked, pointing at the basket of mangoes. It was a lame move and Kise realized that he had done way better first moves in the past â this was not the Kise Ryouta he knew. Wanting to redeem himself once more, he composed himself for a second or two before smiling down at you. âI mean, of course I wouldnât want you to carry that load all by yourself.â
âThatâs really nice of you, tourist-kun.â Without any hesitation, you handed him the basket before leading that way to your house.
In a slight state of confusion, Kise followed your lead, feet sinking in the white sand heâs stepping on. âI donât really want to sound rude with this question, but do you know me?â He knew that the question came out as foolish and maybe quite conceited in his part, but he was still baffled by the fact that you werenât showing any signs of being stars-struck.
âShould I know you?â
âWell, I guess not reallyâŠAnyway, Iâm Kise Ryouta!â
The whole walk remained silent as Kise failed to find the right questions to ask you. Instead, he just kept on stealing glances at you, slightly hoping that youâd be the one to talk to him first this time, but it seemed like he was not going to get it this time. Soon enough, the both of you arrived in front of a white mansion, yellow lights surrounding the front yard.
âThank you for walking me home and helping me carry the mangoes, Kise-kun. I need to repay you for this before you leave the island,â you beamed slightly, recognizing the act of kindness the man offered to you.
Kise saw your offer as a stepping stone for him. He was more than glad that youâve mentioned about repaying. âWell, I really want to explore the island for the past two days, but all Iâve ever been to was the shoreline in front of the hotel weâre staying at. So, well, if itâs not too much to ask from you, could you, possibly, give me a tour? I mean, if itâs oka---â
âThatâs a great idea, Kise-kun. What time will your be free tomorrow?â
âOne oâclock in the afternoon, if Iâm not mistaken.â
âGreat! See you at the shoreline then at one oâclock. Good night!â
-
The following day after that encounter appeared more like of date as you showed him the wonders, hidden and not, of the island. You made him see the simple lives the residents of the islands were living and how luxury always failed to sway them, pretty much contented with the peace they had.
And another one followed that during the fourth day of work on the island. Those two days were more than enough to make Kise Ryouta realize that the island Calypso was really beautiful and that you make it more beautiful than  it truly was. He wouldnât deny that the thing that he had been feeling for you ever since the first day only intensified and became more sincere as each second with you passed by and it was already cutting him open, his rawest, purest self emerging in the process.
It was already their fifth day and they ended late this time, around ten oâclock in the evening. Kise found you sitting near the shore, watching the fireworks from another island. The soft sound of the whistling wind greeted him as the fireflies flew in swarms, catching his eyes for a second. The moon was once again shining its light brightly on your stature and Kise swore to the heavens that it was as if you were some fairy, or maybe a goddess, even, and everything else seemed magical. He jogged his way towards you before sitting on the vacant spot beside of you.
Kise was wearing a white polo, a few buttons loosened from the top, with the sleeves folded, emphasizing his great biceps. He was gorgeous and youâve acknowledged that ever since the first time youâve laid your eyes on him. Also, you werenât dense enough to not know that he has been hitting on you for the past days â his intentions were clear enough for you to understand, anyway. Youâve tried to act indifferent about it, knowing the possible consequences if ever you let your feelings drive you mind and heart once again. It gave you a very heavy feeling in the chest.
The man beside could be a goof most of the times, but he wasnât too dumb to not see your discomfort. This time, he was more sincere, truer, and instead of asking you directly what was wrong, he decided to scoot a little further in order to give you more space.
âKise-kunâŠâ your voice was icy that it sent shivers to the modelâs spine, his tiny smile faltering in the process. You looked at him with sad eyes, guilt and greed running in your veins. âWhy did you move away from me?â you tried to make it appear as a joke, but your tone was too melancholic, thus your failure in brightening up the atmosphere.
âI thought you needed spaceâŠâ
âI do, but at the same time I donât.â The escalation of the talk was sudden, but you couldnât deny the fact that you actually wanted to have this. âFunny, right? I should know the boundaries in this thing that weâve got, my limitations as a stranger to you included. I need to give you space to breathe and time for you to accept me as someone more than just an island girl youâve met. I really want to, Kise-kun---â
â---youâve already done that, (l/n)cchi! If anything, I think I should be the one feeling that for being too clingy, considering that weâve just met days ago.â
âYou failed to hide the ring when we first met. Well, I couldnât blame you, though. You didnât expect to meet me, anyway.â A sad smile broke past your lips as you remember how clumsy he was during your first meetings, always stuttering, panic very evident. âBut, Kise-kun, why? Why did you do this? Why did you try to overlook the fact that you have commitments left in the city? Why did you choose to do this to me? What have I ever done to you?â your voice was already weak as you trembled in anger, desolation, and torment.
â(l/n)cchiâŠâ
âWhy did you decide to make the move? Were you planning to hurt me from the very start?â
There was it: the cruel reality, the truth that made your limbs sting in pain, made your head light, made your chest heavier as the weight of your actions added.
ââŠbut I stopped asking the question and decided to make the most out of the remaining days I have in the island â the days left that I could spend time with you,â he continued, face already wet by the tears he wasnât able to hold in the end. â(l/n)cchi, I know that this is hard, but can you please show me why taking this fall would be worth it all?â The request was foolish and he was right when he mentioned about its difficulty, but you were as lost as him in the sea of feelings you two were swimming in.
Kise grew impatient and didnât let you come up of a response. With his hand pulling you towards him, the other one found the side of your face. His hand traced the outline of your face, ignoring the wet feeling it got as it accidentally wiped a tear off. Soon, his soft lips found your quivering ones. And as if it was some automated response, you kissed him back, all the reluctance and hesitation suddenly disappearing the moment his arms encircled your waist, keeping you closer to him.
Letting greed eat you out, you didnât make any move to stop Kise. You just let him do his magic on you, like always, and this time, thereâs no holding back.
-
âLet me live here with you,â Kise whispered as he slowly snaked his arms around you. It was already the seventh day and the both of you were watching the sunset from the balcony of your room. The shoot had finished hours ago and Kise didnât hesitate to go to your place. âIâll come back after I clear things up in the city. This place is beautiful and I already fell in love with it. I wouldnât mind starting a simple life here.â
Turning around to face him, you chuckled in order to hide the pain his words cast upon you. It was already his last day and you wanted to minimize the pain despite its demand to be at its peak. You first placed a soft kiss on the tip of his nose before cupping his cheek. Still beautiful as ever, you thought.
âYou canât do that.â
âWhy not?â
âAre you familiar with mythology, Kise-kun?â
âI guess I know some, like you know, gods, goddesses, demigods, but thatâs all,â he admitted as he smiled at you sheepishly.
âWell, you see, the name of this island, Calypso, came from a beautiful nymph who lived in an island named Ogygia. There was a great general named Odysseus who got stuck in the island. Odysseus was a great man, had a wife named Penelope whom he dearly loved. Â Calypso still fell in love with him, though. She even offered him eternal youth which the general just refused to. But despite this, Calypso still loved him. Eventually, Calypso actually captured Odysseusâ heart and they lived together in Ogygia for seven years.â
âWhy only seven years? Did any of them die?â
âNo, not really. Itâs just that the goddess Athena asked Zeus to âsaveâ Odysseus from the island and well, from the sea nymph, herself. Calypso wasnât able to refuse Zeusâ request, of course. After all itâs the Zeus â the king of the gods and goddesses â weâre talking about. So in the end, Calypso had to let Odysseus go. She even helped him out in building his ship and gave him food for his journey back to his home.â
Kise was once again, speechless. There was this sharp pain in his chest that made him wake up to the cruel reality he was yet to face.
The exact same small smile that welcomed him to the island was drawn on your face again, a tear drop rolling down your cheek. âThis island really makes the people who go here fall in love with it, but at the same time it seemed like its cursed for having to let go of these people eventually, sometimes a little too soon, too soon that it sometimes hurt a lot. Calypso never let this taint its beauty, though. And like Calypso, eventually, we have to move on and sail away from the temptation to forget everything weâve left behind, from the temporary happiness.â
â(l/n)cchiâŠâ
âPlease know that I do not regret meeting you, Kise Ryouta. Thank you for making me happy for this limited amount of time. I wish you well.â
Your lips met once again, but this time, the kiss was slower. You tried to forget the necessity for oxygen and just let your lips touch and touch and touch. The day was about to end and so would the stay of Kise Ryouta.
-
As Kise and the team skimmed away from the infamous island, the tears in Kiseâs eyes once again found their way out of the chamber. The memories were painfully beautiful, but like you, he never regretted the instant he laid his eyes on you. You became his home for a short amount of time. Your arms were the place that kept him safe and warm.
