I just realized something

So I woke up not too long ago and found out something funny

We all know the “porn purge” of this site happened in December in 2018, and around that time, Twitter had advertisements since April in 2010

Twitter didn’t have the fate of being removed from the Apple Store, which is a bit bullshit when you think about it

But when I decided to look up when Tumblr had ads and when Twitter lost ads, I found out that Tumblr allowed them in May 2012, and Twitter lost them in October 2022

It’s very funny in a poetic matter that 10 years later Twitter will have at least most of its advertisers gone, while Tumblr will always have them and the subscription to remove the appearance of them if one so wishes

To ad even more to the funny factor Tumblr reallowed nsfw content in November of 2022, not full on of course but such content nonetheless, while Twitter was still bad at removing the really bad nsfw stuff, I’m sure you know what I mean, but it was in the same year as well

So really, if you think about it, it’s kinda like Tumblr’s karma to Twitter

I'm sure you've noticed my lack of commitment to this month, and it's basically because my insparation had sizzled out dry as the days moved on.
