This lush ballad showcases the discipline of Jeffrey Carlson’s songwriting and his falsetto capability, while conjuring imagery of loners attempting to traverse snowbound forests ❄️

This photo was taken the night we completed the album. We exited the studio to be greeted by the first heavy snowfall of Minnesota’s 2020 winter. As Chad was loading up his car, it snowed so much so quickly that his bass case was covered completely and, unable to see it, it did not get loaded into the car. One hour later when he arrived home, he realized it’d been left on the sidewalk outside! Fortunately, angel boy Timothy Java was willing to hop in his truck and battle through the blizzard to see if the bass was still there - well, the gods must have liked the work we did on the record cuz the instrument was still there waiting for us! 🌈 #prog #kmono
