I had this png (current pfp) laying around because of someone going on a "why is classic metal sonic so chibi in generations"

I'm sure it'll be replaced laterer

But compare the Sonic the Fighters model (top left) with the Sonic Generations Model (top right).

Seems like the culprit here is that in the original Sonic CD artwork (bottom) Metal Sonic has long spindly legs, mostly due to not having shoe cuffs like Sonic does

They can be more directly compared in the Sonic CD (left) and Sonic Generations (right) model sheets for him.

In making Metal Sonic more proportional to a rounder, stubbier classic Sonic, they made him look 10× as baby. The Brighter cyan colouration and more rounded spikes of 2011 makes it just a bit worse

Long time no see!

For anyone wondering, this blog is named such because I do most of my rabbit hole Wikipedia and similar dives at about 4am and needed a cool name for a blog (and adding a k makes it sound less like a late night talk show or something worse)
