Gion A. Caminada - Dorms for a female boarding school, Disentis 2004. A large concrete tower sits at the core of the project and houses two fire stairs, a kitchen, and small social/study spaces that is indicated by sheets of brass. The tower rotates in a clockwise direction as it travels vertically through the building, providing different entries/exits per floor, and creating subtle shifts in the fenestration on the facade.
