Hi! I don't know if someone asked you this already but are the cats in the au based on real life cat breeds or did you imagine them?

A little bit of both? I did take a few liberties so they could be more distinguishable as the characters and easier for me to draw as someone that has carpal tunnel. Some of the other cats were fully imagined.

Here's a few cats images from Google/Pinterest I used as references when I first designed the kibbies. I very much did not stick to them at the time ngl-

Also influencing the design at the time was the fact this was the art style I was going for before going more cartoony

Finally done with finals! Woo! Except due to budget cuts my university wants the ipad I use to draw back, when they had previous said I could keep it till I graduated 🫠
