How long has it been? Perhaps long enough. Brave Vesperia has grown a lot over their years. The demand for their services has risen tremendously, and with that said, it grew in members as well.
Karol grew up to be a strong and great leader. He wasnāt the cowardly and boastful kid he once was. No, he was a lot more confident and was able to lead like the true Boss he is. Watching him grow like this, has made Yuri quite proud. He couldnāt have asked for a better little brother than him, and he was capable of making more decisions on his own too. Though that didnāt stop him from asking his fellow guild memberās input.
Ha⦠Things certainly have changed, huh?
Much like the seasons of change, nothing every really stays the same. Things come and go. Sometimes those partings were harder than others.
And here Yuri was, standing before an all too familiar grave.
āHey, Old Man. Itās been a while, huh?ā Yuri squats down before the grave, a melancholic look in his eyes. Memories of their travels together flash across his mind. The struggles they went through, the weird behavior they dealt with, some laughs they shared⦠Raven was certainly something, and a big pillar of support despite what an odd man he was. He really grew to be part of their family. A part of their odd ragtag group.
āWe brought you something,ā Yuri looks over to his companion that tagged along with him today. The blue-furred little guy padded his way on over, carrying a bouquet of firelilies in his mouth, and places it ontop of Ravenās grave.
āGuess you havenāt had the chance to meet this lilā guy yet, huh? This is Melvin. He wanted to give you the oā traditional howl whenever we stop by to pay a visit.ā Melvin gave a bark in agreement, wagging his fanned tail back and forth. They have a moment of silence first before he gave a small nod in the pupās direction.
And on cue, Melvin sat back, raised his head to the air, and howled the tune Repede would do, once upon a time.
Best regards, olā friend. Hope you got the chance to dream once more.
