Itto:
Look, mans has 3 things he treasures more than anything ever. His prize beetle, his miss hina cut out (you know you saw that shit.), and you ofc <3
Now people think Itto is this incredibly immature, goofy, reckless guy. And while literally all of that is true, he is also very responsible. He’s the leader of the Arataki gang, that like the most important role guys. He’s gotta be a liiiittle responsible.
On top of that, Itto is literally a pet owner. Those beetles? They’re his little buddies. He’s named each one, but his absolutely has a fav. Those beetles are his pets like it or not-
Now with all of that in mind, mans has business to attend to. And shinobu isn’t available or able to watch his precious beetle! And he’s suuuuuper stressed. He’s very nervous, he can’t leave his sweet child with JUUUUST ANYONE now can he?
Mans said “😀💡” and immediately thought of the person he trust most, more than anyone!…you babe. He immediately gets his little buddies enclosure ready and packs his buddies things up. But he also got an amazing idea (to him)
You’d be wherever it is you are, after a day of helping the traveler because for some reason you notice everyone just takes advantage of that sweet baby makes you vvv much >:( Anyways you’re resting and you get a little nervous knock at your door
You see it’s itto, knowing he’d be going on a short trip soon, you thought he was being sweet and saying he’d see you soon. How cute right? But you see something in his arms. So you answer and usher him in ya know? Vvv curious
So naturally you ask itto what he has and what does he say?
“Y/N, I got you a gift!…😀 but only if you don’t think it’s weird-“ “…it’s not a miss hina body pillow right?” “Unfortunately not.” “I’m sure I’ll love it”
He’s soooo vvv nervous, he knows a lot of people just DO NOT like bugs. And you’re important to him but so are his beetles :(
So he just pulls them out
“I was thinking…while I’m gone on my trip, maybe you can watch little itto? I got him a little y/n to keep him company!”
You don’t even get to open your mouth before he starts panicking-
“it’s just that I don’t trust anyone else to watch them! And I care about them a lot, like I care about you alot! So I thought who better to watch something I love more than anything than the person I love more than anything! And and and I know some people do not like bugs and beetles but THESE ARE OUR CHIIILDREN Y/N-“
And the whole time you are just melting because….he obviously loves you soooo much like SOOOO much. I mean he’s sharing something he loves so much with you and trust you so much? HE GOT YOU ONE? And he trust you to take care of them for him?
“Itto! Itto! Calm down, I’d love to take care of them!” “You would?” “Of course! I’d do anything for you itto I love you too.” “ YOU DOOOOOO?”
Sweet baby boy 10/10 would just be so clingy til he left and then be even more clingy when he gets back.

You two are “eating” and enjoying yourself except you keep feeling something tap your shoulder. And then you’ll hear a rustle. And you’re like “xiao, love, do you feel and or hear that?” And he’s just like “🙂 whet?” So you are very very suspicious of him right now.
And that’s when it gets funny (for me) from there-

This may be a sHOCKER but I dooooo be loving childe. I cannot keep it to myself any longer, an absolute whore for tartaglia. A lover of Ajax.

Now you haven’t met his family yet, but goodness you have only heard amazing things. He just has SOOO much love for them.
Talks about them aaaallll the time. Especially his little brother teucer (I see any teucer neg I’m coming over there.)
But you’ve never met them. And we all know why, childe has a lot of walls to break down. And you’ve gotten past a lot of them! This one is just…a little harder to break down or climb. And for good reason. He’s just very protective okay. You don’t know it but he’s the same way about you.
He’ll tell zhongli and traveler and kaeya AALLL about you. But he’s very weary of you joining him sometimes, he’s very protective of you And doesn’t want you hurt in any way,shape, or form. And he’s just A Y/N hog. You’re his mf baby, who can blame him-
Anyways. The way this would happen?
Childe would BUST into your house holding teucer and something else. Teucer hysterically crying because of what happened and because he scrapped his little knee :(, childe panicking, and a poor little mr cyclops stuffie made Juuust for teucer that is in pieces. Rip-
Idk about you but I’d be a bit overwhelmed but you push that to the side to see what all the ruckus is! So you very panicked ask what’s wrong.
With both childe and teucer speaking and throwing a fit at once you barely manage to piece together what happened.
Something along the lines of teucer was being a bit reckless (a family trait I’m sure-) and took a very big, very scary tumble with his beloved stuffie. So now childe is very upset about the fall his brother took and how he got hurt (if you know his backstory I can imagine seeing teucer falling could be a bit triggering) and teucer is VERY upset about his stuffie his big brother got him is messed up :’(
Seeing as you’re the oNLY one being rational right now. You just have to put on your bravest face and do what needs to be done

But first you absolutely have to patch the poor baby boys up. So you have to clean all teucers scrapes, cuts, and bruises up. He was very brave don’t worry, childe was the one who wasn’t brave. You even “patched up” the big one. For some reason.
And you pulled out your surgical tools (your sewing kit, and if you don’t know how to sew….LEARN IDK-)
You can see how sad childe looks because you can both see teucer feels awful but also his comfort item is destroyed. So you did the absolute nicest thing anyone In the world would do.
You let him hold yours while you fix his up.
“Here, teucer why don’t you hold (stuffed animals name) for me? They get preeeetty jealous when I work on other stuffies. So you two can keep each other company.” “You trust me to do that? Even though I messed mine up :(“ “well of course! Accidents happen! And before that I heard what great care you took of mr cyclops!- just be careful. They get pretty wild.”

So you get to work! And mr cyclops is all brand new and fixed! You even put something like those little build a bear hearts that smell really good in there and had teucer give a feel better kiss before you put it in there.
And while all this happens childe is vvvv much just “💖👄💖”
“All fixed teucer!” “OOOOH! Thank you thank you!” “Anytime! How was (stuffie name)?” “I can’t lie Y/N….they were pretty reckless. But they won’t be charged for any damages!”
…:kids, they’ve got imagination.
You both get teucer all tucked in (you’ll take him home tomorrow) and ready for bed. He had a big day and childe insist he keeps an eye on him.
As soon as you get a moment Alone childe is praising you and thanking you. All at once and very fast and lovingly
Peppering your face in thank you kisses.

He doesn’t even realize what he said, because he feels it all the time. It’s so normal for him.

Now, he could’ve gone to an inn. Sleep where he was at, but after the week he’s had, he absolutely needed you and your warm comfort.

I mean you obviously got a good look, he has some scars. Big ones, little ones, faded ones, healing ones, new fresh ones. Different kinds and types, and all very beautiful and telling. Filled with glory and stories.
Soooo you do what any decent person would do. Kiss his cheek and turn around. Give him a moment of privacy (also to catch YOUR breath cause god DAMN he’s cute ain’t he?)

So fast forward you’re both ready for bed and baby boy is absolutely R E A D Y for some cuddles. Which you honestly weren’t expecting. Mans usually isn’t so into physical affection, but after that little pretty comment you said, and the way you always make him so comfortable. He’s feeling pretty needy.
So in bed you go. You’re lying on your back when you feel your bed shift and gorous eyes
“Yes dear?” “🙂👉🏻👈🏻 can- can I lay with you Please? Like….cuddle?” “Oh…of course gorou! I’d love that right now come here!”
So he’s laying his head on your chest/stomach and just holding onto you and you slowly approach to rub his back
Now hear me out, I’ve heard his voice lines he sounds kinda touch sensitive. But this? He’s eating it up. It’s really showing you how much he’s grown with being vulnerable and how much he really really loves you
So much that he takes your other hand to rub his ears and give him head scritches ofc

It’s all very peaceful and quiet for a few moments until he breaks the silence with a “goodnight y/n I love you.”
