sure it will be different after how ever long he was gone, but he and emmet will adjust and grow and heal together. he wont be the same as he was before, but even if he never disappeared they both would change as time passes. and he wanted to go home, his memories pull his heart to go, and he doesnt feel like he belongs in hisui. the other fallers were happy and stayed, even if they had families where they were from, but he wasnt so he got to go home

If warden Ingo did not lost his memory at all then yes this is still a debatable question, but since the 20ish to 60ish subway boss Ingo is completely non-exist due to the memory loss, warden Ingo is kind of developed individually at the end received memories of subway boss Ingo than is actually the same person.
