sum’ 4 ‘26 — malaysia badumps. vietnam next month :p i think My favorite thing about this trip is the abacus keychain I got from the Chin Swee Temple. I don’t know but I feel like it’s so fitting sakin. At the back is a Chinese engraving, and I asked the vendor what it meant, and she said “prosperity.” Then I looked it up, and it meant: “a small investment brings a ten-thousand-fold profit.” This took me back to one of the messages I got from my mom, saying that she talked about my hardships in life to one of her coworkers, and his reply was: “Tell your daughter: yes, UP Math is mahirap 3–4 years but the dividends will come later. A thousandfold.” This, to me, was so tender because I really was going through it nung first sem, and idk, I guess it’s nice that the universe somehow finds its way to remind you that things are going to be okay. Most of the time, it’s in ways you don’t even notice but I like that sometimes, it’s in ways like this.

1 15 ‘26 — first day of second sem with these peeps :) bro, pinagusapan pa namin na sobrang lolock in kami to the point na maggygym kaming magkakaibigan. hagshahahahaha! anyare?

1 7 ‘26 — din tai fung x fred’s cafe :p fred’s caramel macchiato is actually one of the best in the game. It was so revolutionary like even nef loves it.

_ _ ‘26 — I have always taken pride in calling myself spontaneous, yet deep down I wonder if it is only a façade. True spontaneity requires you to ride the unfailingly shifting tides and not just ride, but ride them well. And still, it is spontaneity that keeps life from hardening into stillness. An act of movement against that insistent fear of becoming stagnant. To remain still is to live inside the outline of someone you know you could have been. I have never been good with change, but if there’s one thing I have learned recently, it’s that nothing lasts forever. Thus, this feeling, too, won’t last.

12 20 ‘25 — comeback naming magkakaibigan hehghehe! i loveeeeeee my friends, and I could literally go on and on about how much I love them. I love how good friends just know—like, you don’t have to say shit, and yet somehow they know. And it doesn’t even have to be about the things that keep you up at night, but also about the things that keep you going in the morning, and they just get that. Like, I don’t know how to explain it, but they feel it, they know it, and they somehow lighten the load just by being there. I literally almost cried when haile brought up the fact that every time she sees snoopy she thinks of me and she can’t stand the idea of anybody else claiming snoopy because, to her, snoopy is me and i am snoopy. tapos si tel she remembers me when she thinks of sinigang like wtf, only a handful of people know how much i love sinigang (i never bring it up). small thing, i know but she knows. she remembered. to be loved is to be remembered talaga. im all about seeing love in the easter eggs of people’s lives. in the small details. in the depths they never thought anybody else but themself could reach. i love loving deeply (which for me, to love deeply is the only way to love truly) im so blessed! i feel so loved! i love it here :) my heart is in pampanga and i have long stopped fighting that fact.

12 12 ‘25 — couldn’t have had a better pasik buddy. i love cornel smmm. hahahahaha! hindi talaga mistake na i struck up a conversation with him sa labas nung com lab and then i found out na i was the first person to talk to him sa buong class—which btw, still feels unreal to me. I have little to no regrets in my life but I do regret not telling him the real reason I approached him. from the introduction he gave on the first day of class, i genuinely thought he was the coolest person ever. instead, i asked him dumb shit about knitting. Hhahahaha! but maybe that’s kind of beautiful too—how sometimes the best connections start not with grand confessions, but with the most random, ordinary questions, and somehow still turn into something warm. My stay has been so much more warmer in UP because of people like cornel. he’s the best. he’s actually goated.

12 8 ‘25 — touching grass with ethics z :p i wasn’t expecting anything from this trip pero i loved it sm. it was the kind of day that just settles gently in your chest. the world felt a little kinder out there. i didn’t know i needed this, but i really did. i love my friends, i love sir sheng, and i’m so grateful for moments like this that remind me learning and living don’t always have to feel so heavy and isn’t always inside the four walls of a classroom. to more unexpected core memories!

10 28 ‘25 — binondo, venice, bgc! this was so hectic and spontaneous and crazy and i loved every minuteee of it. if somebody asked me what my type of perfect day would be, i’d answer this. like no plans and shit just going to wherever AND we even fed the birds likeeee birdssssss! nobody loves birds more than I do! this day was literally amazing like what rally do i have to lit up because—literally. Jhajajajab, see what i did there. tapos ang funny pa kasi one of us almost got in trouble because her phone died and it was already past curfew 😭 10/10 day, would risk the sermon again.

10 20 ‘25 — mozaic! i actually have no words for this day just that it was great and I always love spending time with cesca. i love this dude. if somebody tries to hurt her, I will hunt them down. there’s no line, no bridge, no trench, no goddamn universe I wouldn’t cross for this dude right here.
