My longest post ahead. Okay... I just finished reading Dare. First, I didn't expect much sa novel na to because I didn't want to get excited. Pigil lang. Then when I hand it on hand all my pent up emotions came out. Fan girling ang drama ko. Si Celine Lavega ang peg ko. Dare to Love-- now THAT was light!!! Light yet deep, meaningful and mushy... Still with angst and twists. Who would save LM from the slow ruination? HAH!!! Ruination what??? All the heartaches and disappointments were replaced by giddiness and vertiginous feelings, Ms Eve just aced it!!! Bravo! LM! LM! LM! Please, give us more of this! It was realistic fantasy overload. She just allowed females to daydream, to be a princess once more, to smile wistfully, to fly high and most importantly, to chase their wildest dreams... Well, I feel like a girl in love! Celine, your hair is soooo haba! This novel is one helluva fantasy overload. All of your fantasy about marrying and falling inlove with your hollywood crush is here. And more. Much much moreeeee!!! It left me laughing, giggling, rolling on bed because of too much spazzing, stopping for a while--- to stop my rioting emotions and all--- and what I didn't expect was the moment when I cried. It's an emotional roller coaster novel. Perfect. Another eve montelibano's masterpiece. Celine. My new favorite eve's heroine. I'm telling you guys she's not perfect. She's a spoiled bitch. My favorite quantity in a heroine. Whoever hates Celine must die! Lol. She's perfect. I love love love her. Bagay sya sa dark personality ni Dare. Light and dark. Her POV and lines are funny. She's my perfect bitch. She carried most of the story. She's the life, the light, the sorrow, the joy, and the pain. She allowed herself to dream, to hallucinate, to fall inlove, to chase the most impossible falling (no pun) star, to touch, embark, embrace, to meet, taste and experience fantasy. To be rejected, to wallow in grief, to cry, to be hurt so much she think she'll die in pain, to wake up from her reveries, the recognize the dream from reality, to fall face front onto the ground, and YET, permits herself to go on to the same process to experience the bittersweet taste of love... Of life... Still her self respect and independence made Dare love her even more... One of a kind bitch. Touché Celine! Hands down girl! Dare, what can I say about him? He's the sweetest! Possessive, cold hearted man but goes soft for Celine. I swear I died a little when he said he loves Celine the first time. And his confession. Magnifico! He's a cynic cold hearted bastard who lost faith in people and love. Who was lonely and bored with life. Someone who's chasing death because he can't seem to find that elusive happiness. Who was a victim of his past that haunted his hollowed heart. Someone who needed saving but refused to believe in it. He's the darkness, the sadness, the knight in distress of the story. The man who could love like no other but scarred so much that love was chased away from his system. The one who was saved by his warrior princess, his own Mulan, his Celine. And once he was saved nothing and no one can stop him from loving and keeping his gem. Syempre may nakita din naman tayong imperfections from this novel. Like yung pagiging strict ng parents ni Celine pero hindi nila macontrol ito. Spoiled talaga ang bata. Si Jordan, the man who seldom smile. The serious type. He seemed maluwang pagdating kay Dare, to think na si Celine ay nag iisa nyang kapatid. Parang hindi nagampanan ni Jordy ang pagiging strict and suplado brother sa novel na to. His personality here is weaker compare sa Jaq. Where is the man who made tutok ng baril sa lalaki ng fiancé nya? When it came to Dare it seemed like you got your tail tucked between your legs, Jordy dear. Another is the fact na sobrang yaman ng mga Lavega pero hindi man lang maka attend si Celine ng mga premiere nights ng movies ni Dare? She's a rich blue blood daredevil. If I'm a fan and I've got the money I'll definitely go to every premiere night of my idol's movies. Ano pa ba? Hmmm. Hero and heroine are perfect. Story is perfect. Ending? Not soooooo. I'm not sure if it's because I want to read more or is it really bitin? It will left you wanting more. Like what happen to Darcee? Did they have a happy ending ever after? Like they grow old together? I mean, duh, it's Hollywood! They could break up! They're inlove at the moment but how about in the future? Even Celine's not sure --insert part when she said something about divorce. How many children did they have? May congenital anomaly ba yung 1st born nila since nagka malaria si Cee during her early weeks of pregnancy? Did Celine become an actress? what happened to dare's movie? Did he win any awards? Oscars? Golden globe? Cannes? Did coco Martin become famous in hollywood??? LOL. I also hate the epilogue! Arggg. :( Sayang sa page. Buti she died! (hahaha. Im a bad rotten egg!) Anyway, except for those things at sa ibang typo error. This book is almost perfect! In my opinion, this is much better than Drew. Well except the ending. Drew has a perfect ending. Lol. This is also a thousand, no, a million times better than the earlier releases from LM. My score: 4.999 stars. =P Well maybe Ms Eve will post post novel epilogue sa net about what happened to our beloved Darcee couple and their golden baby. Batting eyelashes. Someone, tell ms eve to have a post novel epilogue guys!!! I'm begging you! Sa ikatatahimik ng utak nating lahat! I know you want her to do that, too! Let's beg her! PS I love that Drew, Nico, Lucky, Blue and Alexis made a cameo here. ;) a funny and sweet moment. I suddenly miss Lothario. Hmm, who's next? One thing's for sure we all gonna wait for a long while again but it will surely be worth our time. :) All hail the best Tagalog romance pocketbook writer in this generation. PS2 (Celine paborrow ng style mo) Sobrang haba pala ng pinost ko. Excuse me, naexcite lang sobra.
