The term “Karen” started to dissolve once white men started to use it as an excuse to be misogynistic, like Black ppl were using it as a term to reference the real violence white women inn-act on minorities through the use of their privilege and ofc there was some jokes flying around here and there, but then white ppl got a hold of it and just used it to mean “any woman who I don’t like”, and white men especially saw it as free reign to just use it as a substitute to “bitch”. Cause like once I saw ppl referring to non white women as “Karens” I knew it was just done for. And why it bothers me so much is ppl (white women) trying to say that anyone whose ever used the term “Karen” just hates women like pls.
