Easy to say when you’re hiding behind a computer screen.
Yes because I was sitting behind my computer when I rescued everybody at the Lima Bean from a demon who doesn’t understand what the word no means. You caught me.
Wanna come visit your old pal Ky at the Hyperion darlin? We can have a little fun. I am dying to try this whole voodoo doll like spell I read up on. And I think you would be the perfect assistant to this magician!
gilbertlegacy:
Ladies and gentlemen, McKinley’s finest. The ones who brag and post about who and when they’ll kill. Is it any wonder humans feel as though they can put a stop to us when we’re handing them over this information?
Just proves what we already knew: that you are all idiots.
I've had a rather productive start to my weekend. One little magic ignited fire and a countless number of people were saved. Who knew it could be that easy?
If this is all you guys have got, you might as well call it, and throw in the towel!
chaosblaine:
I’m sure that by now that you’ve all heard about my little massacre in the local library, and as entertaining as it was, I’d like to draw your attention to the fact that it’s all down to my love, Mr. Gage Kelly Gilbert. I’d love to take credit, but all of that blood is on his hands.
On another note, I currently have twelve innocent humans in my possession. Each hour that passes, two of them will be killed, giving you all six hours before I get bored, and we all know how that ends. However, bring Gage to me before those six hours are up, and I’ll let your precious humans go - the remaining ones, at least. Does everybody understand the rules?
Wow! Gage really wasn’t exaggerating when he told me you were obsessed with him. Isn’t that against the demon code or whatever it is that you guys have? Thou shall not long for humans who would rather kill you/die than be with you.
Anyways, hey Blaine! Sorry I didn’t get to say hi at the Lima Bean but I was busy being a pyro. Speaking of...did you like that? I know I did. Although I’m not sure you had time to pay attention while you were busy screaming in pain from Gage’s holy water attack. We looked deep into eachothers eyes when I was healing his hand. I think we had one of those Kodak moments.

Kyle: This is the most depressing text conversation I've ever had in my life and you haven't even replied yet.

Ky’s assurance let Blaine’s muscles relax, the tension leaving him until the stake was handing by his side once more. Seeing his friend after such a short period of time wouldn’t have felt so overwhelming if it hadn’t been in such circumstances. Since Blaine had last seen Ky in person, both of their lives had been completely changed, Ky’s more than Blaine’s had. Despite knowing that Ky was now a vampire, that he might have already killed, seeing the boy alive and still himself made Blaine the happiest he had been since the attack - with the exception, perhaps, or when he’d woken up under the belief that everything had been a nightmare with Gage. “They did, it’s crazy at McKinley right now,” he replied as he followed close behind him, unable to help but give a genuine but weak smile; Ky was going to be okay. “Honestly, I was foolish enough to not think about the security when I left, but Tristan is going to let me in through the window,” he explained. As they entered the room, it didn’t come as a surprise to Blaine to see the markings on the floor, and he immediately began to follow instructions. What did surprise Blaine as he was putting the collected objects in the middle of the circle with the other items, was how cool-headed Ky was being about all of this. The witch wasn’t sure whether it was because Ky had put a lot of planning into this, or whether magic simply came easier to him now that he was a vampire, but he hoped it was the former; fate would have a cruel irony to it for it to be the latter. “Thank you,” he said softly, lifting the spell book into his hands once all of the items were in place, repeating the spell over and over in his head. He read through it at least ten times before he was certain he knew it word for word. Once he was done, he sat down in his spot, holding his hands out ready for Ky to take. All of his emotions, the final happiness, the thankfulness, the nerves, they were all pushed to the back of his mind to focus completely on the spell. When it was over and Blaine no longer needed to concentrate, he could thank Ky properly.
Blaine's voice was soothing in a way that Ky didn't think was possible anymore since he had become vampire, which made him loathe the way he had to treat the first time seeing him again since their lives were turned upside down as a business meeting rather than old friends reuniting. But there was no other choice. He knew he was walking on eggshells by avoiding the Hyperion as often as he possibly could, and he never knew when somebody would come to retrieve him. The last thing he wanted was for one of the closest friends he had ever had to be present when and if that occurred, because not only would Ky be in significant danger, so would Blaine. When the witch supplied him with the most genuine thank you he had ever heard in his life, it took everything he had not to break down, to start spilling about how difficult things had been since he had become a vampire and how bad he missed McKinley and everyone there, Blaine more than most. But he knew he couldn't, not yet, perhaps after, if they had a moment or two, but not now. God, how he longed for some familiarity, to talk to Blaine for hours on end about life like they used to do when they shared a dorm together. When life was simpler. Taking place near the markings on the floor where he needed to be, he hesitated before he grasped Blaine's hands in his, blinking back tears when he realized it had been the first time he had true physical contact since he had been turned that had nothing to do with taking a life. Quickly, he closed his eyes and exhaled, following the same orders he had given Blaine to let everything go. He couldn't risk that this backfire, as it could have had major consequences.
"Now..." Ky cued them, his eyelids fluttering closed again, this time so that he could concentrate as he began to recite the spell in unison with Blaine. As they repeated the appropriate words over and over again, he could feel the magic beginning to work, feel the power transference taking place. He couldn't describe what it felt like, but it was as if something deep inside of him, something he had been highly attached to was leaving him, waves of power exiting from his hands only to flow smoothly into Blaine's. He gave him everything that he had, and it was when they finished, feeling as if he had no more to give, that he stopped reciting the spell, blinking back tears again at the realization that a part of him that he had never thought he'd lose had just died. But Ky reminded himself that this was for the best. Blaine needed this power if he was going to fight back and avenge all the lives that had been lost. And if there was someone worthy of keeping that part of Ky that had just died alive in a sense, it was Blaine Anderson. He’d need this power if he was going to do what Ky requested and keep Kurt safe and win the war against Sue "Wow - " Ky muttered when he finally opened his eyes to look at the witch in front of him, in complete awe of the way the magic surrounded him, sank into him, adjusting, finding its place in his essence, "You're glowing. H-How do you feel?" He needed to know that Blaine could feel the power in his veins, that he was looking at things in an optimistic stand point in a way he hadn’t since all of this began. He needed that because even though he would never admit it, he was crushed in a way he had never been before.

chaosblaine:
As soon as Blaine received the address and ingredients list from Ky, he began to gather together the ingredients he needed. He was being quiet, careful not to wake Kurt and Tristan - they’d only worry and stop him if they woke now - but thankfully, it didn’t take him very long to get what he needed. There were only a few ingredients needed, and all were easy to find. Then there was the holy water and wooden stake, which, in a school like McKinley, were just as easy to get his hands on. Then he was making his way to the abandoned building Ky had been staying in, his thoughts racing. He couldn’t believe that the vampire would be willing to give up something so precious and give it to Blaine, something that Blaine himself relied so heavily on to keep himself safe. It was something the witch was extremely thankful for. This was something that could help to, not only save Gage, but to also help keep him safe once he had his soul back. Blaine would be powerful, powerful enough to fight and heal, and it would take much more to tire him. He could help McKinley win this war. But it wasn’t just about that. Ky had chosen to trust him with his power. With a deep breath and a racing heart beat, the witch entered the abandoned building, his eyes adjusting to the dark. “Ky?” he called, holding up the stake firmly in his grip, just in case. “Are you here?”
Ky decided that the wise thing to do while he waited for Blaine to arrive was to use the time productively, setting up the ingredients that he had had access to for the spell. He'd spent time throwing a few things together, drawing certain symbols on the floor where they'd be chanting, and lighting candles. It saddened him, how much better at being a witch he was when he wasn't technically one anymore, not for one second feeling insecure about his ability to make the magic transference work, not once needing to refer to his books for help where set up was concerned. He did his best to tell himself it had to do with the fact he was a vampire now and that being a vampire meant your emotions were present, but not overwhelming, but in the back of his mind, he found himself saying that it was because he was never meant to pursue magic the way he had. That he was in over his head when he ever thought he could've been a talented witch like his mother. Quickly shaking his head, he attempted to dismiss his thoughts, not wanting to give himself any reason to lose control, especially now. His head perked up when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the house, the super senses something he hadn't been able to get used to yet. Hearing the creek of the door and the sound of his ex-roommate but remaining friend calling his name, Ky rushed out of the living room where he'd been putting things together to meet Blaine, but found himself leaping back the moment he saw the stake "Whoa, buddy! Hey, I'm alright. I'm not going to attack you. I'm good." He put his hands in front of himself defensively "I am 100 percent in control. If I think for one second I might not be. I promise I'll tell you. So come on. We have to do this as fast as we can. I do not want you to be off the grounds. I imagine they buffed up security and that is the safest place for you to be.”
He trusted Blaine not to stake him in the back when he turned around, not like the boy had any reason to, but these days, it was as if human or monster, you couldn't be too careful. He returned to the room where the magic would be happening, crouching where he had everything set up "I just need you to take the things you brought, and put them in the middle with everything else. Then this is the incantation" He continued, reaching for a book a foot or so away and dragging it closer to the area, "Just read it and memorize it. When you think you've got it down, we will take our spots, and join hands. I know you know the basis of magic is to do it calmly, but this spell is very sensitive. So I really need you to try to relax and let everything that could possibly upset you go. As hard as that is right now, it is necessary."

Blaine: Then I'll meet up with you, yes. I... I'm not sure how good I'll be at using them if it comes to it, but I'll certainly come prepared.
Blaine: You want to... Ky.
Blaine: Are you sure about this? That's such a big thing for you to offer to give me.
Blaine: Even as vampire Batman, that's... I'm so... thank you. Thank you so much for even offering to do this.
Blaine: I promise that I will do whatever I can to keep Kurt safe. And to better our chances at winning this war.
Blaine: Of course, Ky... anything.
Blaine: But I want you to be sure, first. This is such a large thing for you to give up, and to give it to me, is just... incredible, but also such a huge gift.
Kyle: I have blood here. I'll make sure to curb any cravings I possibly can before you show up, just in case. I will take any precautions I can think of.
Kyle: I want to do this, Blaine. Not only do I want to do this, I need to do this, ok?
Kyle: We can't let Sue win. Not after what she did to Gage. Not after what she did to McKinley and if there is even something small like this that I can do to ensure that I am on the right side of things at the end, even if I am not human, that's what I want.
Kyle: I am a vampire but I don't have to be a monster.
Kyle: There are a few ingredients I will need you to bring that I don't have access to. Other than that, bring your award winning smile and signature positive attitude.
TEXT ✉ KYLAINE
Blaine: I'm glad to hear that...
Blaine: You do? Ky, that's... thank you.
Blaine: Oh. I think so. I mean, yes, of course, as long as I can be safe. I know that you can't promise that if I'm outside of the walls of McKinley, but... I... I don't mean to be insensitive, but as long as you're in control.
Blaine: What's your idea?
Kyle: I would want you to come prepared. Stake, holy water, and whatever else you think you might need in case I were to pounce. I do not think I will be a threat to you, but let's not take any chances.
Kyle: I've been researching a magic transference spell. I'm nowhere near as powerful as I was as a human, but there's still a significant amount of power left within me to do magic. I don't need it anymore to save lives.
Kyle: I can be like a vampire Batman or something, right? Super strength and senses are more than enough to save people.
Kyle: I want you to have my power. Any and all that's leftover. You can use it to fight back against whatever Sue has planned for you all. It'll make you better in every aspect as a witch.
Kyle: All I ask in return is that you keep Kurt safe and you guys win this god forsaken war.
Kyle: And maybe when things calm down, you can play referee so that I can see my brother for the last time. You'll be powerful enough to hold me off if I lose control.

Blaine: You know you can talk to me whenever, okay? About anything. Almost anything. I mean, I don't... you know what I mean.
Blaine: I don't want you to fight him, though, Ky. I know that you're not in a great position, but if you fight him? You'll die.
Blaine: I know! I know, it's okay.
Blaine: It... I've been stuck with him for a few days. Tristan and Kurt got me out of there last night.
Kyle: As much as I would love to beat Gage's ass right now, I know not to take him on by myself.
Kyle: I've been holed up in this house for days and I think I have an idea to help you guys get the upperhand.
Kyle: But in order to do this, I need you to consider meeting up with me. Is that something you would be willing to do?
Kyle: This would also be doing me a favor, so I can see Kurt without fearing I might hurt him...

hendrixlopez:
It had been days since the hunter had last heard from the vampire, leaving her with a sense of dread looming over her. The frantic desperation within those texts alone was enough to alert her of the dire situation at hand. Though she knew she should hesitate before allowing herself to meet a vampire, the simple thought that it was Ky kept her walking, paper bag clutched in one hand. The door creaked as she eased it open, revealing the decrepit remains of what used to be a lovely home. “Ky?” Hendrix called out, brown hues sweeping over the room as she ventured further in. The bag was set onto a nearby table, disturbing the fine coat of dust on its surface. “Ky, you here?”
“Want to know something pathetic?” Ky asked in greeting to his best friend, Hendrix, when she arrived at the old, abandoned house had been hiding out in “I knew you were here because I could smell that…” he motioned to the paper bag she set down on one of the tables in the place “…from God only knows how far away. Might as well call me Kyle ‘Bloodhound’ Hummel.” Releasing a sigh, Ky finally decided to offer her a weak smile “Thanks for coming. I wish I was hiding out somewhere much more luxurious but let’s be honest, I am learning that anything is better than the Hyperion. Imagine a frat house with monsters instead of college kids. I am pretty sure when I was there last they were playing Blood Pong. It is pretty pathetic.” Looking at his feet, having a difficulty holding her gaze, as if he felt if she looked too deep inside she’d see the monster within, Ky’s voice softened “How are you holding up?” He was genuinely interested in the hunter’s well being but the more he stood there, the more he could smell the contents of the paper bag, the more agitated the vampire side of him became “Do you mind if I, uh…?”

Blaine: Ky! Oh my God, Ky... I... You're still you. You have no idea how pleased I am to hear from you.
Blaine: I'm still me. He hasn't taken my soul away, yet. He wants to, though. At least, I think he does.
Blaine: Of course. Kurt could never stake you, Ky. Neither could I. Not unless... you're not Gage or Quinn, yet. Or at least, you don't seem like it...
Kyle: I won't lie. I wasn't going to text. I wasn't going to text Kurt either. But honestly hearing from both of you has been...fuck, honestly, there are no words.
Kyle: I won't let him do that. I won't let him hurt any of you in any way.
Kyle: I AM NOTHING LIKE GAGE.
Kyle: Sorry...I am just...there's a lot of anger. I don't know if that's a vampire thing but I am so angry. I don't know what's taken Gage, the REAL Gage but whatever it is...I can't wait until it dies. And I hope I am there to watch it die.

KURT: Can you sneak away? Just for a few hours... If you really are going to stay, I want to at least see you one last time. A proper goodbye...
KURT: I'm still not afraid of you.
KURT: You can't stay hidden, I don't want you killed... Even if you are influenced, I don;t want you dead.
KURT: You can't face him, he is insane... He almost turned Blaine. Gage isn't right, Ky, you can't take him alone.
Kyle: I've been squatting in an old, abandoned house somewhere. I only show my face at hotel hell to make it seem like I haven't ditched. I don't want them to go after you or dad for any reason.
Kyle: I want to see you so badly.
Kyle: I know he is insane. I don't know who that was that day. Gage would've never done this to me. I mean the real Gage. Not whatever the hell is in him now. That's not the guy I know.
Kyle: I am the only one of us right now who can take him on. I have the strength of a vampire now. And I would rather die fighting him than to let him hurt any of you again.
Kyle: If I agree to meet you, will you agree to come loaded with holy water and a stake?
TEXT ✉ HUMMELTWINS
KURT: Ky, please, don't shut me out, I just found out you're still alive...
KURT: But... That wasn't you, right? It was the vampire side, not the real you...
KURT: That sounds awful... You aren't being tortured, right?
KURT: I don't care if you can or not, I want to see you... I miss you, Ky...
KURT: ... Not exactly. I sort of went to make a deal with Gage to get information and ended up beaten half to death... And I just got back from rescuing Blaine... I haven't exactly been at McKinley at all since this started.
Kyle: The last thing I want is to be away from you, Kurt. Any of you. But Gage made sure to sign me up for all of this.
Kyle: Sometimes I wonder if there is a real me left in here anymore...it is as if the vampire side calls of the shots and you sorta have to take what you can get.
Kyle: No, not yet...but if I keep hiding out like this, I might. I am afraid if I stay there, I will be influenced by the other vampires.
Kyle: Gage almost killed you? Great...I make a point to stay away from your safety and I could've protected you...he won't hurt you again. I won't let him.
TEXT ✉ KYLAINE
Kyle: Just tell me that you're still the Blaine Anderson we all know and not whatever Gage had or has in store for you...
Kyle: And I guess while I am here, can you tell your brother I am sorry? I would but honestly if I were him, I would've found and staked me by now.
TEXT ✉ HUMMELTWINS
KURT: Oh thank GOD, don't you dare do that again!
KURT: Kyle, I don't think less of you just because you were turned.
KURT: Where are you? I could find some way to help you...
Kyle: I'm sorry but I didn't want you to know me as whatever it is that I am now.
Kyle: I think less of me. So much less. I killed innocent people.
Kyle: Hiding out somewhere...you have to show your face at the Hyperion every so often or they'll find and kill you, and I don't think they just stop at you. I am sure they go after anyone else you love too. Probably incentive to keep their armies from running.
Kyle: I can't control myself and I can't hurt you. Meeting up with you, I can't promise your safety so I can't see you. Are you safe? Please tell me nothing has happened to you since the attack and you have kept yourself safe at McKinley.
