and then...
concept: we both hanging in bed, spooning and cuddling each other. and then we fill each other with kisses. and then we start to laugh. and then we start to talk. and then I play with your hair while you rest your head in my chest. and then we talk and snuggle some more. and then the conversation gets naughty and we start quizzing each other about turn-ons and such. and then we each make confessions (sometimes silly, sometimes spicy and dirty ones), and we talk about kinky things, but softly cuddling each other. and then we blush. and then we kiss, spoon and cuddle some more. and then we get some snacks. and then we go for a walk or to the movies together, holding hands and all. and then we’re back home, and back in bed, cuddling again. and then, it’s all quiet and silent, when you turn to me and ask me “do you want to..?” to which I already say “yes, please, let’s!” without letting you even finish the sentence. and then you look at me, and I look at you, we smile and kiss again. and then, oh, well, then our previous confessions become a bit too real. and then, we can’t help but to want more and more.

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! – When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.”
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
tbh the real advice I’d give to anyone is, do shit alone. go to a museum & go at your own pace & leave the instant you’re done. go somewhere you’ve never been and just wander around, duck into & out of places as it pleases you. linger as long as you’d like.

There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There’s .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. A writer we used to like taught us that. There are days, many of them, when I resent the size of my unbounded set. I want more numbers than I’m likely to get, and God, I want more numbers for Augustus Waters than he got. But, Gus, my love, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I’m grateful.

— Josephine Hart, Damage
“I’m in love with you,” he said quietly. “Augustus,” I said. “I am,” he said. He was staring at me, and I could see the corners of his eyes crinkling. “I’m in love with you, and I’m not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I’m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we’re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we’ll ever have, and I am in love with you.”
John Green (The Fault in Our Stars)
“The beauty of her was how interchangeable she was. She was off balance. In contrast with herself. She was both happy and sad. Both hot and cold. Her skin was dusted with night stars but still carried the glow of a sun. Her body moved like the waves of the ocean yet her eyes were lit by fires. She was everything this world was made up of from its purest light to its abyss of darkness. Such beauty is a rare sight to see.”

“Fiction gives us a second chance that life denies us.”

“Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.”
— The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood | @wnq-quotes
Someone once told me that human beings have three dimensions: how you see yourself, how others see you, and how you want others to see you. The closer the distance between the three dimensions, the more at peace you are and the more stable you become.
