She’ll be one June 15th, so she’s seven months old right now. Yea, people were setting them off here as well, but thankfully our daughter is like me and won’t wake up to anything, so she didn’t really wake up until she was ready to eat. 

Charlotte was born in July! Summer babies, right? Oh my God, how lucky. She’s never heard anything at a volume above like, four, so she was completely freaked out. Thankfully her sleeping schedule is going back to normal, though.

I wish I could say I know what that means but I’m happy for you! I’ve had a pretty relaxing week so far, actually! The past month has been so intense and insane and I’m honestly grateful for the New Year and the chance to relax.

Hey, congratulations! I also became a parent in 2021. How old is your daughter? I slept through the new year, honestly. Considering the fireworks kept waking my own daughter so it was a bit of a struggle to stay asleep. But I’m excited to see what the new year has to offer, honestly.

I think I slept through the fireworks, which is odd since I am such a light sleeper. Ugh I feel you. Teo is slowly starting to sleep better, since I sleep trained him, but the holiday’s messed up his sleep schedule.

You’re extremely lucky, then. Charlotte was finally starting to sleep through the night but she started teething recently, so she’s been having a rough go of it.

what is one thing you hate and think is the most unrealistic thing about movies? i’ll start. i think it’s super unrealistic when people in movies wake up looking immaculate— with perfect hair and makeup, no bags under their eyes or greasy skin. they just generally look amazing when waking up. no one that i know wakes up looking that perfect. it’s so unrealistic and always bothers me more than i’d like to admit. anyway, i’m rosie and could probably name a million more things that i think are super unrealistic when it comes to movies. // @hfrpstarters​

Any science that doesn’t exist. I understand that science is always expanding and always changing and we’re always discovering new things, but I have a hard time believing a movie when they just make something up that didn’t stem from something else. Because it’s taken us so long to get to where we are that it feels like these people just make things up in no time at all. I would love to hear this full list, now, because I love listening to people talk about movies.

Okay, but I feel this! I was in bed passed out by ten, I only woke up because I heard my neighbors shooting off fireworks and it woke up Charlotte. But then I immediately went back to sleep after I soothed her and woke up at seven. Who needs New Years when babies are going through sleep regression, I ask you.

Okay. so remember those Buzzfeed quizzes? I had no idea they were still a thing and I may have got down a rabbit hole of them today. One of them was ‘We will predict what your 2022 will be like’ so naturally I clicked. I expected something like you will be married or have a baby or something I could just laugh off but no, mine said my prediction for 2022 is ‘you will have a major problem.’ What kinda bull is that? So should I start taking bets on what my problem will be? Figured if I am going to deal with one then I am as well make some money from it. @hfrpstarters​
