Still one of my favorites. 1084 and cocobolo with nickel silver pins. Beefier stock that I'd been using at the time, but with enough taper to keep it feeling maneuverable. (at Detroit, Michigan)

1084, whitetail, leather & bronze. . Thanks to @diybflo for giving me something just a little outside my usual wheelhouse. Her dogs got first crack at the antler, but left enough for me to do something with. I'd had the blade knocking around for a while, and all the other parts kinda fell into place. 52100 & mopani with carbon fiber pins. . This knife is available at lafonhandmade.com. . I got a lot of new handle material (and a lot of other stuff; more on that later) from a very skilled, very generous western NY bladesmith before The move. This mopani is the first of it I've used, and it's quickly become one of my favorites. (at Detroit, Michigan)
