@cvntineo. !!
carnival was coming to a close, & so was lana’s social capacity. an introvert in almost every way possible ( though she liked to believe there wasn’t really one cookie-cutter anything ), the dark-haired girl couldn’t think of anything better than to recharge after a day out & about. the move to los angeles had been a rocky one, nevertheless a social event immediately following that she, for whatever reason, felt obligated to attend. all of this was made smoother, somehow, by her co-star living a few doors down. she wasn’t sure how that even happened; she’d come to the conjecture that her new apartment was haunted, & the previous tenant was spooked & went running for the hills. noah had a way of making things easier ---- everything seemed so seamless when it came to him, so simple. a part of lana was envious, the way he made it all look so easy. it made sense that she found herself here, with him, roaming the carnival grounds ‘til closing time. with a cotton candy sky darkening above them, the blues and pinks swirling into gentle grays, lana couldn’t help but look up at the ferris wheel that slowed to a complete stop against the sleepy sky. “ last call for the ferris wheel ! the last ride of the night ! ” an attendant called out. lana’s eyes brightened, blinding against the surroundings. she spun to face noah, who matched her pace beside her. she extended her height to her tiptoes, hands reaching to rest on his shoulders. “ noah, ” she playfully whined, drawing out the ‘o.’ “ can we go ? will you go with me ? please ? ”
