With just a week to go before the Japanese release, the Japanese Dual Destinies site has seen one last update, bringing us a better look at Phoenix in the animated scenes, new screenshots of Edgeworth and Pearl, and the official return of Psyche-Locks!

On the Famitsu side of things, hoso_boso provided some more details of the reviews, and Court-Records member SeanHK was kind enough to translate them:

・When I first heard it was in 3D, I was admittedly worried, but playing the game, it feels perfectly natural. ・One thing that “surprised" me was Athena’s facial expressions. She makes some really strange faces for a heroine, which made me further like her character. ・Finding the contradictory feelings in the Mood Matrix gets quite difficult in the latter half of the game. ・Despite being a part of a series, character backgrounds are explained well so anyone can jump into this series with this game. ・Please experience the bigTurnabout at the end of the game!

・Athena’s Mood Matrix didn’t feel out of place. ・The added features makes it easier to play the game. ・The game’s climax/finale is very surprising/dramatic. Just as you would expect from the series’ best game! ・Music is good.
