It took moment for King to react on his sister talking to him. Maybe because of fact that he was afraid of what’s going to come. Or because of that part of him that was blaiming himself for everything that happened. Yet, there’ no way he’ll ignore her now. After moment fairy spoke up with forced smile

“What is it Elaine?”

The humans may worship the Goddesses as being more than what they are. But I didn’t believe the fairies nor giants to be as foolish. I’d be willing to make exceptions for some humans who cast their loyalty to the right side, but until then, the Goddesses should be the ones on the losing side of this war. Don’t let them use your power to promote their motives.” 

So... It wasn’t anything too interesting. Attempt to turn him against others. Truth was that he didn’t care about Goddesses and they relations with other clans, besides grudge he had was against demons more than them.

“So  it sounds like you expect me to throw my friends away and join demons. I dunno how about you, but it doesn’t sound any better. Besides even if I do that, won’t you do exactly the same? You want to use my power too, but for your goals.” King only rolled his eyes, even if he had his goal it sounded more similiar to the other clan, he was describing.

“It more seems like your and Goddesses goal are more similiar, maybe try talking to them.” It was clearly a tease.

“...Was it the wisest decision? Probably no. Was it one of better options at the moment? I’d like to believe so. It wasn’t exactly my choice.”

As long as it was right, full truth that his kind wasn’t in ally with anyone ‘all the time’. Besides that both humans and demons damaged fairies.  Still he didn’t end talking mainly because he wanted to find out intentions of the other, since he had no clue on them.

“Even if our goals might not be way too diffrent... Why do you bring that up?”

“Well, that’s rather anticlimatic” Zeldris huffs. “Lucky for you, I don’t come to fight.” As if some fairy could take him on… what a joke. “I’ve come to discuss your companions…” 

“Do you know your fellow Sins as well as you believe?” There, right to the point, and good enough to plant a seed of doubt.     

He didn’t come to fight? Good for King, he wouldn’t start fight if not needed. If not brought up subject of others, more likely he’d just fly away in that instant. That was one of the topics, he’d never ignore and as long as he’d rather not get into contact with another enemy, this urge to know as much as possible about others was stronger than that.

“I doubt I know any of them as well as I’d like to, but this feeling is probably mutual. We all have secrets we don’t want to share.” Attempt to make him doubt was rather a pathetic one. Maybe just because he had this doubt inside of him all the time.

“So... why do you want to talk about other Sins with me?”

“Just because I’m a fairy it doesn’t mean I have wings. There are wingless fairies too, you know?”

     He still didn’t understand the meaning of personal boundaries and why they were a thing. Gowther tilted his head, looking over the fairy. “Then how am I supposed to understand? How am I to help if I don’t understand what’s wrong?” The doll did have a habit of invading privacy, but usually in hopes of understanding.

“Sometimes you just don’t need to? Not everytime something happens, I want for everyone to understand. Just like there are secrets, that you’re not supposed to read. Like.. Did you never have something that you didn’t want others to know?” He wouldn’t be suprised if answer was no though.
