Well, I've got the podcast bug so my friend and I are going to do a Literary Anthropology podcast.
Literary Anthropology explores the role literature plays in the experiences of people/individuals in a social, cultural, and or historical setting. It explores how Anthropology influences fiction and different genres of fiction and styles of writing; i.e journalism, poetry, and storytelling.
We hope to engage people that are new to Anthropology or may be intimidated by it to understand that social anthropology is vast and ever present and that it's in the books they read and the tv shows they watch, even some of the podcasts they may listen to.
I also am excited to discuss amazing and interesting ethnographies and creative and engaging fiction and stories that bring literature and anthropology together.
Does this sound interesting???????
Please message me, I'd love to know if this is something anyone would be interested in?
We are aiming for fun and interesting and maybe 20-30 min long episodes.
