Carrie Fisher began journaling at the age of 12, fostering a life-long love affair with words which would culminate with a status as a best-selling novelist renowned for her dark, witty humor and no-holds-barred take on reality. As an unashamed advocate for mental health awareness, she openly discussed her personal struggles with bi-polar and addiction, working tirelessly to reduce the stigma around mental illness. To carry on Carrie’s legacy, I’ve begun designing journal covers inspired by her life, quotes, and writing. 100% of profits will be donated to The Thalians, a charitable organization dedicated to mental health causes which was co-founded by Carrie’s mother, Debbie Reynolds, in 1955.
