Bill was one of the most notorious gangsters in American history.

His real name was William Poole, his father was a butcher who also owned his butcher store. Bill lived in New York until his murder in 1855, he died young at 33.

He was the leader of the Washington Street Gang, The Bowery Boys. He was also the local leader of the “Know Nothing” political movement. William was also anti-immigrant.

He was actually the influence behind the movie “Gangs Of New York”.
