bucks date night button up he wore definitely showed off his tits though right -alli @bucksbeagle
oh absolutely, as opposed to the ironclad fortress that are his pants, buck's date night shirt is a button up that is like. at least half unbuttoned already lmao. like, he looks at himself in the mirror beforehand, with two buttons already popped, and goes you know what this needs? more buttons undone. then pops the next two. his tits are out, his tattoos are out, his chest hair is out — he is flaunting what he's got, for sure. he wants to have had to remind eddie thrice that his eyes are up here by the end of the night, okay 👏👏
Alternatively, Buck wears this BEFORE they even get together and Eddie keeps looking down there (re: the Nashville crossover when Eddie was definitely staring at his chest before Buck opened the door). Anyways this is how Eddie realizes he's maybe Not Straight ™️
Interview with Oliver about his short film, ‘The Long Con.’
Look at Eddie as his own character for once, separate from Buddie. He has the depth and potential to carry some amazing stories. He wasn't written solely to serve as a romantic interest, yet sometimes it feels like both the fandom and the show treat him that way
eddie + the sexual orientation test
@buddienetwork event 13: straightmundo diaz, part 2
we should've gotten buddie codependency arc after mother's boy
Actually it's hilarious to me that the only time Eddie thought he was being hit on was by a celibate priest but whenever any other male is hitting on him/courting/flirting with him, he doesn't even bat an eye. Eddie Diaz are you actually that oblivious or are you just in denial? 🧐
Does Eddie know he's in love with Buck?
Yes
No

“Are Buck and Eddie finally getting together in Season 10?”

Oliver and Ryan’s panel from today. Thank you @inekepp for sending to me!
do you guys think that when Buck and Eddie are mad at each other, Eddie will refuse to eat what Buck makes?
Yes
No
Yes but will secretly eat them when Buck isn't around

one thing i think was really interesting about taylor kelly is how different she is from our main cast of characters but she almost has the same fundamental goals/traits/means to an end as them if that makes sense. like they're all willing to break a few rules in order to do their jobs. they all want to do some service to society, whether that's the 118's goal of saving people or taylor's goal of sharing the truth. they're all rough around the edges with their own damage. they all have strong principles that guide them. the 118 and taylor were never gonna get along long term for many many reasons, but there's also a reason taylor and buck were together for so long and why she's drawn into the 118's orbit beyond the time they save her. the show casts a pretty solid layer of judgement on her, but in reality, is she so different from our beloved main cast?
The thing is when people say that Eddie wouldn't care about being gay or whatever he is does have some truth to it. However when he first figures out he likes men I think he will have some issue with identifying with who he is. Not because of internalized homophobia or anything, but because Eddie has always known who he is. He is was a husband, a father, a veteran, a firefighter, a friend. Now he has this new, undefined label because he really did love Shannon (however that love maybe construed), and he is struggling because there is this new thing he doesn't know. And I think that is what will make him spiral — not him liking men, or being in love with Buck, but not knowing something about himself.
(x) happy pride!! ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
'you're exhausting' and 'she sees me' are two sides of the same coin and that coin is 'shit these characters absolutely are not still agonizing about years later despite looming disproportionately large in the fandom consciousness'
Actually Eddie not realizing how his and Buck's relationship as romantic makes complete sense even after the road trip back from Nashville. Because Tommy was quite literally courting him for the first few times they hung out and Eddie thought nothing of it
Also I would like to add that Eddie never noticed that Buck was jealous of his new friendship with Tommy until Buck broke his ankle over it
