One of my favourite bits from rewatching S5 was this.

I've always love the scenes when Kate goes to the diner and meet up with her dad to discuss things; and it's usually big things! Granted we only get to see two scenes when this happened (I think), but I love the idea they have this diner where they will meet whenever she needs him. And how the scene usually opens with Kate sitting in her car first.

Anyways, another reason why this is one of my favourite moment was when she said this:

"What happens when the music stops? What if we all in love with was the dance?"

This was from the season finale which aired in May 2013.

Richard Castle then wrote a dedication for her in "Deadly Heat" (published in Sept 2013), saying:

"To KB: May the dance never end and the music never stop"

Considering that conversation was between her and Jim, that means Castle and Kate probably had a similar conversation too then 🥹🤍 they finally had the talk! 😂
