FTF || Sebastian & Levi || fluency.
Sebastian was roaming around town again as he got more used to the place he was at. He felt like he had learned a lot more about this earth in the few days of roaming around and though he had a few people looking weird at him once or twice, he was doing decently at blending in. The only hard thing was the fact that he was someone’s body double and people thought he was him a whole lot. During his stay, Sebastian had also seen people who’s face he recognized as one he had killed on his own earth. For him, it confirmed his theory of the same faces being on both earths and explained why he looked like Barry.
Though he had explored the town a little more, he was drawn back to the green of the park. On his own earth it was very green and nature was important so the park felt the most like home to Sebastian. It was day so the park was a little more crowded and there were a lot of interesting people for Sebastian to see. There was only one person who really stood out though and that was the boy who was dancing in the park. Sebastian moved closer to him and watched him as he danced. Then when it seemed like he was done, he took another step forward. “Hello.” Sebastian said, his eyes scanning the other’s body. Sebastian liked interesting people as regular people were just way too boring for him. He had lived many centuries and little surprised him. If he had the choice, Sebastian would always pick out the people who stood out. “Your dancing is very beautiful.”
Normally, Levi would only allow himself to dance in public when it was late, late at night, but lately he'd been feeling an internal pressure; he didn't want to hide, he just wasn't confident enough to do anything else. The sky was dimming, but it was still day and there were still people around when Levi brought himself to the park, always inspired by the greenery he tended to come here the most. He was well acquainted with the area and found himself a mostly-secluded little area and used his phone to run through a dance playlist. It just felt like the right place to bare himself, like something was whispering in his ear, guiding him almost. For now, he'd work freestyle, exploring his flexibility and stamina as the song progressed. Nobody noticed him and soon enough, he didn't notice anyone else either, not even the noises of people just out of his periphery. The lingering warmth from the sun made him feel caressed by an unseen gaze.
He ran through a few songs like that, until after one finished a sound brought Levi's attention to its source. Suddenly, he felt naked, but it wasn't a completely terrible feeling like he thought it would be. Outside of the dance instructor he saw out of town and his family, nobody had seen him dance- or even knew he was capable. This explained the pressure, the need to be seen. Levi's eyes scanned up and down the other man, speaking before thinking in his surprise, "Who are you?" A few blinks and he moved to his phone, shutting off the music. "I-- um. Thank you." He smiled, but it was the smile of someone who was a little embarrassed and didn't often smile, it seemed like he was out of practice. "I didn't know you were watching."
I’m normally not a big sweet eater, and I don’t keep very many in the house, but I am curious about what sort of treats you have.
I have a lot of things. Imagine a normal amount of time to spend in the kitchen and multiply it by ten and you might have an idea of how long I was in there baking.
I volunteer as tribute.
You've got it. All that's left is deciding whether you're going to come get these treats yourself or if I'll be delivering them to you.
I feel like I should apologize now then, because in the coming months I’m planning on baking at least once a day.
And what are you apologizing for?
I’ve never understood the appeal people have to going crazy with treats and baked goods around a holiday.
You misunderstand; I'm a baker, it's what I do. Year round. When the holidays come along, there's just a theme to follow. I'm sure the theme is inspirational to some. Like choirs singing carols during the winter holidays. It's part of the atmosphere. I'm not really sure where you got lost there.
I take it that’s your way of saying you went a bit… overboard with the baking?
I almost always go overboard with the baking, to be honest. It's a hobby and it's something that I can do alone.
I'm up to my ears in Halloween treats, so if anyone out there wants to take some baked goods off my hands it would be much appreciated.
[PM] Thinking about doing a group jazz routine to 'This Is Halloween' for the studio's annual showcase. I could use some help planning it out.
[PM] That sounds awesome, Jacks. I'd love to help out, especially if you want me to. Do you want me to sit down so you can show me the ideas you already have worked out? You know I won't take this from you, I want to see where you're headed and help you get there; not take over in my own direction.
Would you rather be allowed to eat as much Halloween candy as you want for a week but have what is left taken away or be allowed to eat one piece a day but never have it taken away?
You don’t know me at all if you think there’s any candy left in the Hummel house a week after Halloween. Give me the week, I’ll eat it all.
i, like the stars, know what it means to be devoured from the inside out. i know what it means to be on fire; not emit any light. here i am / trying to be less volatile, less violent. i’m saying that

[PM] A cool tattoo for one of the coolest brothers ever.
[PM] One in a set of three. What are you up to, Jacks?
