Painting with light is a process in which you use long exposures to highlight or add emphasis to certain parts of the image, this is commonly seen in still life photography. The best way to photograph painting with light is to use a tripod so there is no movement or change in your images, and to use a torch or small source of light to create the highlight on the areas you want to be lit, you should also be in a completely dark room in order to create the strong highlights.

What is the concept?

A giant rubber duck floating down a pond/river.

What will the location be?

I plan on using a pond at Eglinton Park.

What will the object be?

I will be using a rubber duck for my object.

How will they be combined?

I will composite the rubber duck onto the pond, making it look like there is a giant rubber duck floating on the water.

Final choice:

I decided to get my final prints done at The Print Space, this was due to many factors but the main point being paper choice, price and time frame. I was extremely happy with the final outcome of my prints and I would definitely use The Print Space again!
