035/049 random headcanons?

Alright! Before answering your question, I consulted a friend of mine to make sure the translator could convey your ideas accurately.

So far I have created two versions of 035/049: the Interview series and the Alagadda universe.

In the Interview version, 049 is a merle border collie, while in the Alagadda version, it is a hooded crow.

When I draw fanart for other creators’ Alagadda works, I will reimagine the Doctor as a merle border collie if their random headcanons depict the character as a human.

Across every version and storyline, 035 is consistently designed as a white wolf. I have also drawn it as a cat or a goat occasionally, though those designs are rare. I enjoy dressing it up in a waistcoat and having it carry a whip.

The merle border collie iteration of 049 is the one I draw most frequently, and it also grants me the highest creative freedom. The hooded crow form only appears within the Alagadda storyline.

Originally, I used to design the Doctor as a wolf a few years ago; I switched its species to a canine in early last year. I initially planned to use a Groenendael, until I came across this dog:

(The two forms share identical features: curly black fur, slightly upturned eye corners, and golden eyeshadow.)

Between the two versions, I prefer portraying 035 as taller and more muscular than 049. Especially in the Alagadda universe, the crow variant is quite small, only reaching up to the Black Lord’s chest 😋
