After Lightning was sent away in episode 7, he was sent to Two’s Eliminated Contestants Suite. He was teleported into a room. That was the moment he found you, sitting on the empty floor of that room. That was also when he learned that he was going to be your new roommate.

You had to calm him down a bit after his sudden scenery change, luckily you’re one of the people who can calm him down the best.

After his anger subsides, he starts breaking down. He hates the fact that he can’t hold you close because he’s made of lightning.

You hold his hands and reassure him that everything will be ok.

He manages to collect himself after a little bit.

After he steadies his voice, he tells you about everything that happened.

After that, you just comfort him, chatting about your time in the suite.

You guys spend most of your days just chatting, and to be honest, Lightning wouldn’t have it any other way. He really lucked out having you be his roommate.

Being together, he finally had to confront something he was dreading.

He finally had to tell you about his crush on you.

On one hand, if he told you and you refused, then it’d be tragically awkward given you two are stuck here together until TPOT ends.

On the other hand, it’s getting harder and harder to hide his feelings for you.

One day, he decides to just go up to you and quickly blurt out that he loves you.

He’s quite genuinely shocked (heh, get it?) that you feel the same way.

He’s has incredibly low self esteem, so this really helped him.

He REALLY hates that he’s made of lightning because he wants to just hold you so bad. But he can settle for holding your hands.

While dating, not a lot has changed. You two are usually very affectionate with each other anyway.

You made his life worth living. He had struggled a lot after his elimination and you really brought him out of that low point. He loves you with his whole heart and you’ve changed him for the better.
